Never Going Home from Wet Ink Games

My latest project for Wet Ink Games is now available at DriveThruRPG. My adventures and critters appear in the Tome of Corrupted Beasts and the Once More Unto the Breech Adventure book. These are the same adventures I ran at GenCon this year.

I’m still alive

I’m still alive! I’m still functioning. I’m writing more than ever. I have two pieces coming out soon with Wet Ink Games as part of their Never Going Home line. (Details on the project and setting are here. They are launching the core game, a book of adventures, and a book of monsters.) One of […]

Coming Soon: Cursed

My latest book, Cursed (the first of a trilogy) is set to come out June 1st! “Handsome warriors don’t usually just show up in your bedroom in the middle of the night. But when they do, it’s usually with a fleshy tentacle monster sidekick and they’re trying to kidnap you. Then your best bet is […]

My first work in Gaming is now available

The Briton Twins are among the best and brightest the Hegemony has to offer, so it is no wonder they were recruited by the elite Hegemony Intelligence and Surveillance Services (H.I.S.S.). This Faction for Wild Skies: Europa Tempest is available for use in any Wild Skies game. Have your players dive right in with a […]

Sneak Peek: Emma Makes a Friend by M. Lush

This one got caught in editing, but it will be live soon. So let’s start with a free sample.   Prism Falls was another mixed-capital community, one of three Emma Veneta managed for a ludicrously wealthy collection of people who had likely never set foot inside any of the communities’ doors. The first two floors […]

Why I deleted most of my “writer friends” from my personal Facebook page

It’s been pretty obvious that writing has been on the back burner for me lately. Lately being a relative term. And also, maybe, backburner. I’m still writing (every day actually), and reading, and reviewing on Reading Bites. I’m just not as pushy about it. I guess pushy is a good word. I don’t push my […]

Wolf Heart Excerpt

(It has come to my attention that my links are off, so I am reposting some book excerpts I can’t find on my site anymore.) 1 The world puts demands on us. Endure this, it says. Survive this, it dares. However, the higher powers, if there are any, have no understanding of who we are. […]

What to say?

No, really, what am I supposed to say? Do you really want work count updates? Except I’m writing by hand most days which makes it harder to count. Photos? Peeks at my crafts? I feel like such an un-exciting author. I know! Have a dog picture!

Supernatural Veterinary Science: Good God, don’t do that!

My dayjob and writing life will collide this weekend at Imaginarium in Louisville, KY. I’ll be teaching a writing class on applying biology (vet medicine/animal behavior science/epidemiology). Coincidentally, I’ve also been reading Hounded by Kevin Hearne. I was recommended to me by a number of people who probably thought I’d like it because the main […]
