ECLIPSE Movie Review
I must be honest, I didn't read all of the Twilight books. But I love the movies. Who wouldn't? Two hot guys, vampires, werewolves fighting over a single girl. Neither boy can move on, they love her and only her and guess what? She gets to chose, after she samples both. This movie started off promising with a hint of suspense and a surprise. I settled in knowing from the great beginning that this

However, that doesn't mean that I'm going to let up on spreading the hate. The plot of this film is, roughly, the same from the show--in a world where nations are divided by the elements (earth, fire, and water) and where people know how to utilize

THREE FACES OF THE ALA CONFERENCE
I visited the American Library Conference (ALA) in Washington, DC as an author, with my publisher and as a guest. I wanted to give my perspective from all sides regarding how great of experience this is for an author and a small publisher. This conference had hundreds of vendors, publishers and librarians in attendance and it was extremely fun.SMALL PUBLISHER PROSPECTIVE My publisher was

TOY STORY 3 REVIEW - by Movie Diva, Monique.
Toy Story 3 is another notch in Pixar's belt. Of course, everyone expected them to turn out another successful movie, but Toy Story 3 has advanced Pixar into a different realm of family filmmaking. I guess what I mean to say is this: even though Pixar had already advanced into more mature filmmaking with Ratatouille and Up, the fact that they can take toys and make them have such emotional depths

PARTY SPOTLIGHT GUEST - SCOTT MEEK
How are you diggin the party? The party is always good as long as the drinks are flowing! haha Tell me about yourself? Retired Navy, former suburban husband turned Yuppie. I prefer to think of myself as separate from the crowd, "abby normal", if you will. I have a natural aversion to trends, so I'm often doing things that others don't do or wouldn't do. I spend a lot of time in books; just

GRACELING Book Review by Teen Book Reviewer - Nyia
GRACELING by Kristin Cashore Please welcome, Nyia, my spotlight Teen Book Reviewer.Graceling was a cleverly written book. I have never read a book like this one and loved it. I enjoyed how the author put three parts together to make up their story. The mystery that was in Graceling with the kidnap of Tealiff kept me guessing. I loved the way the author made you fall in love with Katsa and gave

FUN IN THE CITY
Living in the city, I always had stuff to do in the summer. I did not have a lot of money, but in the city, there was always something going on for free.
