There's Something Bigger than getting Published
I know, I know, you think I'm crazy. But when I did my recent book event, I realized what I love more than writing…having a forum to talk to others.Writing a book, opened more doors than I ever could have imagined. And guess what? I'm not a Best Selling Author yet, I'm considered a Midlister. Meaning – I do okay. I sell some books, not hundreds of thousands, not millions, but a decent amount

DO YOU HAVE SWAGGER?
DO YOU HAVE SWAGGER?Swagger = charisma, coolness, that something that draws people to you and makes them want to hang around. You know those people, writers write them, readers love them or hate them, but we all… sorta want to have a bit of that SWAGGER. That's what my teen son and his high school group use for the word I used to call COOL. The word may have changed, but being popular in your own

NANOWRIMO DID ME IN
I am pooped, whipped, wore out, exhausted and brain numb. Nanowrimo kicked my living … 'hush your mouth'I've always been a fast writer. I thought I could shave off my natural timing and kick out 50K words in a month.I

HARRY POTTER DEATHLY HALLOWS and TANGLED Movie Review
MOVIE REVIEW OF HARRY POTTER DEATHLY HALLOWS Part 1I will try to give an honest review, but with the pre-cursor that I'm biased. I just love the Harry Potter books. This movie is a continuation of the tale, and yes, you'll want to see the other movies or at least read the book in order to truly 'get' the reason these kids are on the run, who died that is impacting their search and besides, you'll

Thanksgiving, What does it mean to You?
We all know the history about the Pilgrims who held the first fateful Thanksgiving celebration to give thanks for their harvest, survival and new life. A nearby Indian tribe was invited to celebrate with the settlers and that Thanksgiving day lasted three days. However, Thanksgiving today has lost some of that meaning. Usually around this time of year the stores gloss over the Thanksgiving

THANKSGIVING PAST ADVENTURES
Long ago, I threw in my towel. Spending Thanksgiving cleaning before guest arrived, cooking all night, then cleaning up again got old. Sure I loved spending time with my extended family, but I was just plain tired. So I had a revelation….GO ON ADVENTURES FOR THANKSGIVINGThat's when we decided that for Thanksgiving we would travel.
