Week in Review 12/8/13 Edition

Big week here, we have a week or so until we start the Kickstarter for Fall of Man .

We received both covers back from Rick and they look great.  The limited edition will have glow in the dark ink, so that is AWESOME.

I have received some roughs for the short stories for The Awakened II and that and the Fall of Man Kickstarter will be taking up all my time until it is over in mid-January.

2014 is going to rock.

A Gift of Giving-Jeremy Tangman

A fellow gamer and game designer Jeremy Tangman just got diagnosed with Poly Neuropothy Syndrome, it is a nerve disease and it is slowly breaking him down, he could use some help.  While I do not know Jeremy well we have talked and swapped gaming material what I do know is nerve damage.  About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with Cubital and Carpal Tunnel in both arms and had to have surgery.  I was miserable and in pain on a constant basis.  The Cubital Tunnel is now in my other arm, while it is not as bad as my previous time it may get to be, so I understand a small piece of what Jeremy is going through.  Here is the difference, I am having mine handled through work, and have had no out of pocket expenses but I have seen what these items cost and it is asinine.  I just finished paying off a hospital bill from 2 years ago for my son (and that was just for the part insurance did not pay).

So what I am asking is to stop and before you buy that lunch, or that new eBook (even mine) go over  to Jeremy's GoFundMe page and donate a little instead.  Even $5 can add up, and it will make you feel good knowing you are helping a cause with a face that can reach out to you.

The Awakened is on Amazon, the eBook is for sale, the paperback is listed BUT is listed for 12/21/13 release, Neal has told me backers will get their books before this.

Good Reads- 3 New Ratings in 3 Days

Yes, we have had a few people rate The Awakened on Good Reads already we are so happy the backers are happy with their purchase, it will be available on Amazon soon for order (eBook) and pre-order for paperback.

Week in Review 11/24/13 Edition

Laying Waste Kickstarter is getting closer to adding me to the book...I already have some material written down do not make me waste it!!!

Just sent in our 3rd Expanded Races for C&C to Christina Stiles Presents, go buy this stuff so we can make more!!!

Fall of Man is getting closer and we have some nice surprises in store for people when it launches in mid-December.

Getting some feedback from authors on The Awakened II!

We got our first rating on Good Reads for The Awakened (book I), 4/5 stars, I like the feedback I am getting!

All the other projects are moving ahead slowly but moving ahead and as I have more concrete info I will tell you all!

Week in Review 11/11/13 Edition

New Kickstarter called Laying Waste, I am a stretch goal so go check it out of you like Pathfinder!!

The Awakened eBook is in everyone's hands who backed that Kickstarter, the publisher tells me he expects the physical copies by the end of November.

Fall of Man is getting closer and closer, we have the Kickstarter up and tweaking it until the day we launch in mid-December.  We will have some neat tiers and I think this book will be a must have for gamers.

The Awakened II is being written as we speak, and it looks like about 70% of the characters will be returning and I think all of the authors.  If you have read the eBook please go rate it on Good Reads and on Amazon once it is up.

I will be a guest of honor in Tampa at Salty Bay Con, it will be my second year attending it.

We will have some of our older d20 items for sale if we can find any, if you see them buy them fast, quantities are very limited.

Week in Review 11/3/13 Edition

We started the Fall of Man Kickstarter page and working and reworking it, we will have some short videos up soon about it.

Backers of The Awakened book I should of received their eBooks, please look for an email from Neal Levin.
I broke 3.6k words on my The Awakened II short.

I finished up another Expanded Races piece and will have it to the publisher CSP this week, our first one was released this week and called Expanded Races: Granite Dwarves, if you play C&C it is real fun for both player's and CK's.

Woeking on another small piece for a Pathfinder supplement (3rd party, not for Paizo).

I have most if not all of the artists lined up for Fall of Man!

With The Awakened eBooks hitting backers virtual mailboxes and the Expanded Races release this week, I was very happy.

OK, why do I do what I do...because I love this work.  I olove to give talented people a mental image and then see if come to life when it returns to me.

I enjoy art, I enjoy fantasy so when I can mix the two I am in heaven,  I am collecting a very talented team to work on the art for this book, some are from the days of TSR, some may not of been alive when First edition D&D was released but all of them are talented and excited about this project, which just gets me more and more excited!!
