Finally catching up... and then I'm gone!

Whew, I'm finally catching up with everything... and then it all hits at once again!

Worth The Wait released last week and it snuck up on me! But I'm giving away a copy at Stumbling Over Chaos. So stop by and comment on the lovely Mayhem and you may just win.
I'm hard at work on the much awaited sequel to The Long Con, which has a working title of Dangerous Submission. Tony and Bradley are in supporting roles (yes, Bradley, Tony thinks you are #1 still) but the story centers around two new characters, Drake and Robbie.

So stay cool in all this heat! :) Bye for now!

PSA for authors, about auto adding friends on Goodreads..

Hey, this is a public service announcement.

A lot of authors have commented to me about having friends auto-added on Goodreads and they couldn't figure out why.

There are several reasons why but the main thing is when you sign up for Facebook, it will auto select an option to add the people you are friends with on Facebook. If you want to change that, here are the instructions.

Here is a link to the app page of your account: http://www.goodreads.com/user/edit?format=html&tab=apps

<----- the culprit. I unclicked this box.

And that's all you need to do. If you're still getting auto-adds, contact Goodreads customer service. They are awesomely friendly! :)

Worth The Wait, my new title from DSP

So yay! Today from Dreamspinner Press, my latest release Worth The Wait.

Inventor Henry Wallens accidentally made a time machine out of an old cell phone, and he’s decided it’s the perfect opportunity to make his life less lonely. He goes back in time and poses as his own uncle to try to make himself more outgoing… but when he runs into his old high school science teacher, Ryan, it’s his current—future—self who ends up changing to look forward instead of back.

It's $2.99 at Dreamspinner or if you've signed up for the Daily Dose, you'll receive it automatically.

Congratulations, Stephanie Barbeau-King!

I just got back from my dad's place in Port St. Lucie for my sister's graduation. So I just wanted to say congrats to my baby sister for graduating high school with honors! You're the best and here is to a very happy life after high school. You did it! :D Now on to college! :)

I'm exhausted... but happy again!

This week has been exhausting. It started off really awesome with giving away books and stuff to the awesome people who participated in the Hop Against Homophobia. That was a lot of fun for such an awesome cause!

I haven't stopped since then! On Wednesday I had a second round of shots in my SI joint and this time it feels much better. I rested yesterday but then my muse kicked in (maybe it got the shot in the ass it needed :D) and I've written 7K in two days.

So I'm tired, especially after the epic traffic around Disney, and I'm going to stay in and just read and write and enjoy myself on this holiday weekend.

Take care!

The winners (yeah you read that right!) on the Hop Against Homophobia.

Mission: Spread the love!Status: Accomplished!

When I made my post for the Hop Against Homophobia, I thought posting about love wouldn't be enough. I thought maybe I should post my experiences of being genderqueer and my journey to where I am today. I want people to know that hate directed toward them is just temporary and that it gets better.

But I wanted to post where I am today and my post reflected the love I feel surrounded by my family and friends, fellow authors and of course, my fans.

You guys proved me wrong and I'm so happy!

As I watched the comments fly in on my post on the Hop Against Homophobia, I was so pleased, I almost cried. There were so many people who were so positive and the comments were so beautiful and full of love, well, I got really happy. :D

(OMG, my editor is going to kill me. I used "so" 4 times)

I decided to give away TWO choice of my backlist.

vitajex and SheriV

Please check your e-mail! You won!
Not to sound all Saturday Afternoon Special on you, but we're all winners when hate takes a hike! Stay cool everyone! Love you all! :D

*Squee!* Really big news for Soul Seduction! :)

I've been sitting on my hands, waiting for clearance to be able to shout this from the rooftops! I'm so excited.

Soul Seduction is a finalist in the PRISM awards for the FF & P (Fantasy, Futuristic & Paranormal) Chapter of RWA. The awards will be announced at the RWA National convention in July.

And a huge congrats to Lynn Lorenz and KC Burn, fellow pub mates who made the finals as well!
