Horrorant Film Festival, Athens, Greece

[image error]The Horrorant Film Festival in Athens, Greece has just announced ‘Finale’ as part the official program. The festival is held in Athens, of course, 9-15 may 2019.

Horrorant is the seventh international Film Festival to screen ‘Finale’ as part of the official selection.

‘Finale’ is based upon my novella ‘All The Things She Wished She Didn’t Understand’ which can be found in English as an e-book most everywhere, and in German titled ‘Finale’ both as e-book and paperback.

So far, ‘Finale’ has won the Best Feature Award at the HorrorHound Film Festival, Cincinnati, USA, Best Feature – with a hope of survival at the DROP Film Festival, Moscow, Russia, and Best Horror Feature at Motor City Nightmares, Detroit, USA. Besides those three awards it was also nominated to the Méliès Competion at the BIFFF Film Festival in Brussels, Belgium and made the Official Selection at FrigthFest Film Festival, Glascow, UK and Night Visions, Helsinki, Finland.

FINALE wins Best Horror Feature at Motor City Nigthmares

[image error]‘Finale’ did it again! For the third time ‘Finale’ wins a best feature award at an international filmfestival. I can’t really believe this. After six official selections, which is something in it self, ‘Finale’ won the main award at half of them. This spring is one to remember for sure.

This weekend ‘Finale’ won the Best Horror Feature at Motor City Nightmares in Detroit, USA.

YEAH!

‘Finale’ is based upon my novella ‘All The Things She Wished She Didn’t Understand’ which can be found in English most everywhere as an e-book, and in German both as e-book and paperback.

FrigthFest Glascow Top 5 Films

Arrow Video FrigthFest Glasgow 2019 was this weekend, and ‘Finale’ did very well there, I am proud to say.

Hollywood News did a fine review written by Kat Hughes, calling ‘Finale’ “A strong start for a first-time feature director, Søren Juul Petersen’s Finale shows a lot of promise.”

[image error]Entertainment Focus was even happier and placed ‘Finale’ on their Top 5 list over the best films shown at FrigthFest this year.

And gave ‘Finale’ a great review, saying: “Where Finale really excels is in building the tension. It doesn’t waste any time getting into the story and I was on the edge of my seat for the entire film. In fact the climax was so tense, I wondered if I would make it to the credits before my nerves were shredded.”

Interview on Entertainment Focus

Leading actress Anne Bergfeld and director Søren Juul Petersen at the Danish premiere.

As the UK premiere of ‘Finale’ — the film based upon my novella ‘All The Things She Wished She Didn’t Understand’ — at the Arrow Video FrightFest Film Festival Glasgow 2019 is only a few weeks away, Entertainment Focus has done a thorough interview with the film’s director Søren Juul Petersen.

It’s worth a read.

Find it here.
