Time to Reboot.
When I finish a book I feel drained. Empty.
Climbing Mealisval on the Outer Hebrides. I’m in front. I’d like to go back right about now.
I have ten days all to myself.
I intend to do some much needed spring cleaning and reorganizing.
And it’s time to add some summer veggies to the garden. Flower bowls too.
And so I will reboot.
And write again.
***Hey, check in tomorrow. My new book may be available on Amazon.

My Best Bird Story.
Who says birds don’t have a sense of humor?
Not me.
I was out for a walk one morning. Ahead of me, on a low tree branch, was a robin. He had his eyes closed and he was singing at the top of his lungs– obviously in the zone.
robin
I stood and watched, fascinated. It was the expression on his face that captured my attention. The best way I can describe it is to say it was blissful. This robin was in a state of utter and absolute bliss, completely oblivious to everything around him.
As I watched the...

You Can Go Home Again. Becca’s Dance by Jordyn Meryl.
A select few romance authors write for the older, more mature, romance reader. Let’s face it, most romances involve twenty-somethings, maybe thirty-somethings. Typically the heroine is 24-30. The hero might be older, say 28-40.
And of course NA, or New Adult Romance, is very trendy. The characters tend to be quite young – 18-24.
Two of my friends have written romance for the more mature reader – Katalina Leon and Penny Watson.
Kat is the author of, yes, the one and only BDSM book I will ever rec...

Me Happy! Vikings and Orphan Black!
Why would I not be happy? I have Vikings and Orphan Blackto keep me happy. And truth be told… Game of Thrones wasn’t half-bad last week, now that Joffrey is gone for good. If I’d been forced to sit through his ass-holiness for one more episode I might have rammed a chopstick through my ear.
But dang! I’m so sad!!! Only one more episode of Vikingsremains this season, a season which has been genius, by the way. Big boy Bjorn, son of Ragnar Lothbrok, rocks the house.
Bjorn, son of Ragnar Lothbrok....
