As it turns out, I'm no Nostradamus

My new column for Airlock Alpha (written Monday) just got posted today, the same day that Amazing Spider-Man #700 came out. Check it out and see how utterly I failed to predict the fate of Peter Parker and the future of our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

A five-star review for Pathfinder Tales: Called to Darkness

The first review of Pathfinder Tales: Called to Darkness is up on paizo.com, and it's a five-star one that says this:

A wonderful treat.

I've always been a fan of the serial pulp stories from the 20's and 30's. So to me, this novel felt like an amazing tribute to authors like Burroughs, Lovecraft, and Doyle. My hat goes off to RLB, for crafting a story that felt truly unique in an already varied setting.

The Mayans Predicted You Will Dig Blind God's Bluff

Today (12/21/12) is noteworthy for two reasons: It kicks off the Mayan apocalypse, and, more importantly, it’s the official release date for my novel Blind God’s Bluff.

What a happy coincidence! Whether you end up in the afterlife or the post-apocalyptic wasteland, you’ll want something to read. What could be better than the book Carol Wolf, acclaimed author of Summoning and Binding, describes as “the best kind of urban fantasy, a rollicking, fast-paced adventure.”

And you won’t even have to pay for it! The financial system can’t survive the collapse of the rest of civilization. Trust me, your January Visa bill will never arrive.

So check it out:

Audible.com is releasing four of my Forgotten Realms novels as audiobooks on 1/8/13. I'm hoping these will the first of many. The novels are the three books that make up the Year of Rogue Dragons plus Whisper of Venom. More info here:

Cover poll, Part Deux

There's another round of polling to really, really, really finally, ultimately decide on the cover for the ebook republication of The Vampire's Apprentice. Once again, I would greatly appreciate your input.
