Call for members on new NFPA Technical Committee on Facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props
At its April 2015 meeting, the NFPA Standards Council approved a new Technical Committee on Facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props and directed that a call for members be published. The Council voted to approve the request of the Technical Committee on Fire Service Training to create a new Technical Committee on Facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props and to transfer the responsibility for NFPA 1402, Guide to Building Fire Service Training Centers, to this new Technical Committee. Today is a big day. The New York City Fire Department celebrates their 150th birthday! As their birthday wish, they want every New Yorker protected by working smoke alarms and to learn CPR. This is one birthday wish we couldn't agree more on - but we think it should be extended to everyone, everywhere!
