CORRECTION:NFPA 1001 proposal offered recommendations for EMS guidelines among career and volunteer firefighters

Last Thursday, a blog was posted highlighting a proposal in the upcoming edition of NFPA 1001, Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications. It stated that the proposal would require EMT certification for all career and volunteer firefighters.
