Thankful for You Blog Hop
Happy Thanksgiving! This week, I’m participating in the Thankful for You Blog Hop sponsored by Herd Hops.
November is all about giving thanks to the people in our lives who are important. And some of the most important people in my life are those of you who follower my writing career. Some of you are friends and family. Some of you are people I have met face-to-face at writing events and book signings. Some of you are educators who take my classes at Seattle Pacific University SPIRAL program. And some of you are people who have come along for the ride through blog hops and other social media networking. Thank you to all of you!

It’s been a long journey and many of you have been with me since I first started blogging back in 2006 when my very first short story, “Hurricanes” was published in the collection of stories for kids entitled, Summer Shorts. You can read that post here.
You have followed me as I took the risk and went with smaller epublishers for both of my tween and young adult book. You followed me as I moved into writing sweet, contemporary romances. You stuck with me when I posted often and filled your eboxes with my posts and when I’ve hardly posted at all.
And you’ve followed me in the last month as I jumped into my own imprint, Eagle Bay Press, and brought out the first in a three book, sweet contemporary, small town romance series set in Cranberry Bay entitled, SWEETHEART COTTAGE.

Tie One On Day–Wednesday November 25, 2015

Celebrate the apron and give from the Heart on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 and then give thanks on Thursday. Participation in Tie One On Day is easy and uplifting. Simply wrap a loaf of bread or baked good in an apron and tuck an encouraging note or prayer into the pocket; then present your offering to a neighbor, friend or person in your community who could benefit from your gesture of kindness. Tie One On – and put the “give” back into Thanksgiving.

Stormy Arts Reading and Book Signing. Primary Elements Gallery, Stormy Arts Festival. Cannon Beach, OR. November 8. Noon. I’ll be reading from my book, Stained Glass Summer, and have both Weaving Magic and Stained Glass Summer on hand to purchase and sign.
Author Next Door. Panel Q and A. November 21. Sultan Library. 1:00-2:30 p.m. I’m participating with a group of local authors on a panel in which I’ll talk about writing for kids and writing romance.
Sweetheart Cottage Book Release. All Day. November 21. If you’ve pre-ordered Sweetheart Cottage, check your ereader for the book! Chapter Two of Kids In Orange on Wattpad

I’m trying out the first three chapters on Wattpad to get some reader feedback. The book is not published, this is simply a test to get some feedback.

Spooktacular Giveaway Hop
