Supreme Court blocks Biden from ending Title 42
In a 5-to-4 decision, the Supreme Court decided to keep in place a pandemic-era restriction on immigration known as Title 42. The decision is in response to a petition from GOP-led states which argued that lifting the policy would lead to an even greater number of migrants crossing the border into cities where shelters are overcrowded. Man gets 16 years in plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer
One of the men who led the plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer was sentenced to 16 years in prison Tuesday. Prosecutors said Adam Fox was the driving force behind the plot, which included blowing up a bridge to help the abductors escape.
