Justice Department to ask Supreme Court to intervene in ruling on FDA approval of mifepristone

The Justice Department on Thursday said it will request that the Supreme Court intervene in a Texas federal judge's ruling last week to halt the Food and Drug Administration's approval of the abortion pill mifepristone. On Wednesday, a federal appeals court overrode the Texas judge's decision, but tightened restrictions, ruling that mifepristone can only be dispensed in the first seven weeks of pregnancy, not 10. Suspect arrested in fatal stabbing of Cash App founder

A man has been taken into custody on a murder charge in last week's fatal stabbing of Cash App founder Bob Lee on a San Francisco street. The suspect and victim knew each other prior to the slaying, police said. Jonathan Vigliotti reports.

Residents evacuate after fire at Indiana recycling plant filled with plastics

A fire at a recycling plant forced residents in Indiana to evacuate their homes. Video from the scene shows a plume of black smoke rising from the factory which stored plastics. Officials have assured residents that no toxic compounds were detected in the air. Indiana State Fire Marshal Steve Jones joined Prime Time to talk about the situation.

EPA proposes new emission limits designed to dramatically increase electric vehicle production
