Meet "DR. MEPHISTO" (1945)


I always dig the funky covers of L.B. Cole (above), but I also dig the funky artwork (below) of a guy named Casper Emerson. I hope to find more of it. Apparently this was the doctor's first appearance, in Power Comics #3, from Aug. 1945. His last was in the following issue, for which you may stay tuned.
