Join my Advance Readers Group!
Hi Everyone! Well, it's an exciting time here, as I am seeking volunteers to join the Advance Readers Group (ARG) for Watch Hollow, the first book in my new series for HarperCollins. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever written, so I’m super pumped to show it to you!
As a member of the ARG, not only will you read “Watch Hollow” in advance of its publishing date (February 12, 2019), but also—and this is the most important part—you will help spread the word about it! To do so, you'll get an uncorrected pdf Advance Reader Copy (ARC) of “Watch Hollow” so you can start reading it immediately on your Kindle, Nook or other electronic device. Once you’re finished, I would ask that you please, please, please do the following:
1. Post a review here on Goodreads and rate “Watch Hollow." This is simply the BEST way to spread the word about “Watch Hollow” BEFORE it comes out, and something you can do right away while the story is still fresh in your mind.
2. Post a review on Amazon on February 12, which is the official “Watch Hollow” launch day. Most likely, you will use the same review that you wrote here on Goodreads. Also post your review on any other book sites you might use. Again, this HUGE when it comes to spreading the word about “Watch Hollow.” (Don't worry, I will remind you as the launch date approaches!)
3. Spread the word about “Watch Hollow” on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.! This too is really helpful for letting people know about the book.
I’m looking for all kinds of readers, so if you’re interested in becoming a member of the ARG, please msg me here, comment below, or go to my site, www.gregoryfunaro.com and fill out the contact form. Again, by becoming a member of the group, I ask that you do some (if not all) of the things I mentioned above.
Also, let me know if you’d like to receive news about upcoming events, as well as information on contests in the months leading up to and after the publication date. Prizes include signed copies of “Watch Hollow,” as well as a $100 Amazon gift card! Contests are open to anyone (not just members of the ARG), so go to www.gregoryfunaro.com and fill out the form on the Contact page with a brief message saying you’d like to participate.

Update
Well, it's been forever since I've posted here on goodreads, but just a quick note to let you know that the first book in my new middle-grade duology from HarperCollins is now titled "Watch Hollow." The release is set for February 12, 2019--just in time for Valentine's Day! Matt Griffin was tapped to do the cover and some interior spots, and let me just say that what I've see so far looks AMAZING! More soon...

New Series at HarperCollins!
Thrilled to announce that Abby Ranger at HarperCollins has acquired world rights to House of Night & Day and Forest of Light & Dark, a creepy fairy tale-flavored middle grade duology by yours truly! Here's the synopsis from the announcement in Publishers Weekly: "In a quiet valley in rural New England, two children move into an ominous old house that stands next to the much feared darkwoods, where a powerful ancient magic lives in the wood itself--including in the wooden animals that fill the children's house and come alive at night."
