I was born in the North of England. Parts of my childhood were challenging and I didn’t always get the support I needed due to circumstances and the pain of others. Yet, this helped me to grow my own strong roots and in turn choose a life of self enquiry. I wouldn’t change any of it though as it has made who I am today.

From a young age, I wanted to live in London. So one day in my late teens, I bought a one-way ticket and travelled to London with little money in my pocket and a bit of blind faith. It was overwhelming for me to see London for the first time through the eyes of a teenager travelling alone.
