Six Sentence Sunday –
Hi guys, happy sunday! I will post another excerpt from my m/m urban fantasy novella "Song of Love and War" coming out August 28, 2011, with Amber Allure publishing!
If you remember, Thane, a human man, has just glimpsed Suresh, a handsome elf, at a hotel spa where he has been sent to recover from war trauma. Not everyone likes elves. Although some of them help the humans in the bloody war against the machines, most of them stay away, in their underground realms. So it's not a big surprise when two men attack Suresh at the hotel bar. Before Thane has a chance to come to his assistance, Suresh takes action:
Then the elf whirled and kicked out, arms twisting, dark hair flying, in a blur of silver and black. The two men fell to the floor and stayed there, not moving.
Someone whistled.
The elf stumbled and caught himself on the bar counter, his long ponytail swinging like a cat's tail.
Thane shot up from his chair. Something was wrong with the elf.
I will be posting more excerpts from this story over the next few weeks.

Six Sentence Sunday – Second glimpse of Suresh
Happy Six Sentence Sunday! Last week I gave you a first snippet from my upcoming novella Song of Love and War, due out next month with Amber Allure. I gave you Thane's first glimpse of a beautiful man at the hotel reception. Now at the bar of the hotel, Thane gets a better look – and he's in for a surprise!
He sat alone, staring into his drink, his fine features locked in a scowl. A strand of dark hair teased the base of that long, white throat. Even from afar, his eyes glittered, some pale shade of crystal, and his lips curved into a slight sneer, beautifully shaped and soft-looking.
Then the man dipped his head to sip at his drink, and an elegantly pointed ear peeked through his dark hair.
An elf!
Thane stared, his jaw sagging.

Six Sentence Sunday – Elves anyone?
Happy six sentence sunday!
I've been kept off my weekly posts for a while due to work overload, but I hope to keep at it now.
In case I haven't announced it yet, my paranormal novella "Song of Love and War", featuring Suresh, a dashing elf prince, and Thane, a mortal man crushed by the war against the machines, is due out with Amber Quill Press (Amber Allure) on the 28th August!! I am thrilled, as I love this publisher and this story.
Song of Love and War
Will an elf and a human, two men broken by war, find solace together?
Meet Suresh…
A tall, slender man standing at the reception counter caught Thane's eye. He was talking with the receptionist. His leather coat hung all the way to his knees, and black trousers molded to his long legs. He wore combat boots, marking him as a soldier. His straight, dark hair was caught in a ponytail that reached the small of his back. There was something about him, elegant and yet dangerous, that made Thane's stomach clench.
And here is a pic I found on the internet (http://kerembeyit.deviantart.com/art/...) which reminded me of Suresh:
I will be posting more excerpts as the time of release approaches.

Six Sentence Sunday: Suriel's desire
Morning and good sunday!
Here is another snippet from Suriel's Sword. Last week you saw the angel Suriel through Arioch's eyes. Now you see the demon Arioch through Suriel's.
Have I mentioned I love my boys?
He knew the shape of the demon's graceful body, the spikes of
black hair rising over his handsome face, and the long, silky braid hanging
over the left ear. A blue tattooed ankh, the key of life, marked the demon's
right cheek.
Holy God. It's him.
The demon turned, as if sensing Suriel's presence. Suriel let his
hands fall to his sides at the sight of that fine face, the brilliant dark eyes,
the full lips, the irresistible smile.
I won't be online on sunday but will do my rounds on monday. Have fun, all, and check out more excerpts here!

Six Sentence Sunday – Meet Arioch from 'Suriel's Sword'
Six Sentence Sunday and another excerpt from Suriel's Sword, recently released in the Wicked Good: An M/M Angels and Demons Anthology by Ravenous Romance. Suriel is an angel in love with Arioch, a demon. This is kind of awkward for both of them as you can imagine, but feelings can't be erased no matter how hard one tries – and when accompanied by desire, well, even less.
The angel strolled toward him, steel armor glinting. Transparent
cloth flapped at his arms and thighs, strangely bright. His long silver hair
framed a gorgeous face—eyes of crystal blue, lips made for kissing, a
strong jaw.
Arioch groaned. Why did they have to partner him with the
protagonist of all his wet dreams?

Six Sentence Sunday – Suriel's Sword and new release!
HI everyone and happy sunday! I am back with a snippet from my short story "Suriel's Sword", released on Friday (6 May) in the Ravenous Romance Wicked Good: A M/M Angels and Demons Anthology, edited by EM Lynley!
Suriel is an angel devoted to Heaven's service, a warrior of God. His attraction to Arioch, a beautiful demon, will quite literally send him to Hell – which at least is warmer than Heaven…
Arioch is a famous demon warrior. His affection and lust for Suriel will lead him to acts of self-sacrifice – after all, every angel needs a guardian demon, right?
Right. So begins their story, which I hope you will like!
Suriel rubbed his arms. Heaven was beautiful, yet he was always cold. He yearned for warmth, and for something else he couldn't name.
How he wished to see Arioch again. Suriel pressed his lips together as he turned at an intersection and headed east, his steps echoing. The handsome demon haunted his dreams, ever since the day Suriel had set eyes on him so long ago.
No angel of Paradise was as comely.
The anthology contains many fabulous stories. Here is the link!
The authors of the anthology talk about their inspiration for the stories on editor EM Lynley's blog

Six Sentence Sunday – Egyptian gods and James
Welcome back to six sentence sunday – and Happy Easter to all who celebrate it!
Lots of bunnies and chocolate, lol.
I will be posting some more of James' story (novel: The Falcon and the Jackal, published with Cobblestone Press). A mysterious and handsome man called Silver has told James that they are both reincarnations of the ancient Egyptian gods Seth and Horus. James doesn't believe a word until his apartment is attacked and he barely escapes with his life. A bullet has grazed his shoulder, and Silver has undertaken to clean the wound…
Silver took some gauze from the first aid kit. His eyes were hooded in the golden light, and wisps of hair shadowed his cheeks. He grabbed a bottle of water from the back seat then wet the gauze and began to clean the blood off James' shoulder. He scrubbed around the wound, and the texture felt rough on James' skin. Then he touched the torn skin and flesh. James hissed. Silver drew back, but James reached out.
"Finish this."
