Money isn’t evil, but the love of it is because of all the ruin and destruction it can bring to each of our lives. We must learn to harness our desires and keep God above our love for money, or it will ruin us.
The Apostle Paul had many enemies in his ministry, but none were as dangerous as legalists. In his letter to the Galatians, he reveals how the gospel is sufficient for our salvation and lives.
A local church is supposed to function as a faith family, assisting one another thoroughly. Without a clear organization for how to do so, many needs will remain unmet.
Haggai 2:10-23 – As the people began to undertake God’s work, they wrongfully assumed they were good with Him. Beware of dangerous entitlements that make you believe God owes you something in your obedience.
Nothing existed before God, and God needs absolutely nothing to exist to prove his divine nature. The Creator does not require anything from the creation.
We often blame our children’s spiritual condition on the culture we cannot control rather than the family we can alter. We must do our parts to raise our children in a positive spiritual environment, regardless of what transpires around us.
Ministry teams are wonderful blessings if you know how to work well with others. The potential conflicts go both ways, and you must consider who you are to determine who you need to be around.
Apprenticeship is necessary for a ministry to maximize its ability to accomplish God’s agenda. While the process takes time and effort, it will ultimately multiply the work.
Haggai 2:1-9 – People often view the future as bleak if they perceive the past as ideal. If we only focus on what God did previously, we will miss the glory days that He desires to bring now.
Jesus responded to Satan’s temptation by committing to obeying God’s Word. Understanding that our enemy knows the opportune time to tempt us, we must prepare ourselves.
