Ring in spring with a juicy historical romance from C.C. Wiley
Now that the days are getting longer and the temperatures are starting to warm up, it’s time to celebrate the change in seasons. Ring in spring with one of my juicy historical romance novels.
After being stuck in the house all winter long, you’re probably feeling a bit of cabin fever. Pack a delicious picnic lunch, download a few of my books and spend some time at a local park or body of water.
If you’re new to historical romance, or my writing, in particular, I highly recommend KNIGHT SECRETS: THE KNIGHTS OF THE SWAN #1.This is the book that started it all, and the story is one that will keep you interested and engaged.
Here’s a brief teaser to get you in the mood:
Sworn to protect the crown, a Knight of the Swan must never surrender—not even to love. England, 1415. Ordered never to leave the lonely tower on her family estate, Lady Clarice Margrave is suddenly set free when her home is plundered. Now she is determined to discover the truth behind her father’s alleged treason. But an act of daring only propels her into a new prison, with the very knight who destroyed her home as her keeper. Sir Ranulf, Lord of Sedgewic, is ruthless in his inquisition, though there is a searing tenderness in his touch. Is it possible her bold jailor is the Red Wolf of whom her father spoke—and the one man she might be able to trust?
Available on Amazon Kindle and Nook.

Discover the historical romance novels of author C.C. Wiley and learn a few things, too
If you love history and romances, why not combine the two? That’s exactly what I’ve done with my historical romance novels and I’d love to share them with you.
My books cover a wide array of characters and stories, ranging from the re-release of Knight Dreams to my Knights of the Swan Series and Lilies of the Valley. If you love learning about medieval history with a mix of romance, passion, and intrigue, I think you’ll be a fan of my work.
As an author of historical romances, I spend a significant amount of time reading about the time periods my stories are set in and performing other related research. It might seem tedious for some, but I love the process of learning about bygone eras and the men and women who lived during them.

Break up the monotony with a historical romance
Does winter have you feeling the blues? Are you tired of being couped up, having to wear multiple layers or shovel snow?
If the traditional hot bath and box of chocolates won’t do, consider immersing yourself in a sweeping historical romance novel. Being able to experience a different place or time period can provide a sweet reprieve from the cold and clammy hands of cabin fever.
With so many books available in stores and online, it can be hard to determine which series or authors are worthy of your time. Fortunately, I’ve had the pleasure of building a fan base that has reviewed my work, and I currently carry a 4.65 out of 5-star rating on GoodReads.com.
My Knights of the Swan series as well as my standalone novel, Knight Dreams feature knights in shining armor, damsels in distress, complex political drama and plenty of romantic intrigue.
Stop letting winter weather sour your mood and visit my website to start browsing. I’m confident that you’ll absolutely love. Imagination and adventure await in 14th Century England. Lady Clarice Margrave, the knight Ranulf and Brigitte de Marnier request your presence. Won’t you join them?

The Knight Dreams re-release is now in stores!
The holiday season might be over, but I still have one extra special gift for all of my dedicated readers; I can’t keep the secret any longer!
On January 22, I released a revised second edition of my book Knight Dreams. Although this story is not part of my Knights of the Swan series, it does have similar themes and features romance, historical fiction, and intrigue.
The book is available both on Amazon and Barnes & Noble’s NOOK.
Here’s a brief synopsis of what you can expect:
Would you give up your vengeance to save someone you love?
The skilled archer, Terrwyn ap Hew, lost her young brother to the English years ago. Now, her night visions reveal that he is alive and she intends to bring him home. But the English soldiers have returned to her Welsh village in search of the famed archer to take on their campaign against France. If Terrwyn is to reach her brother in time, she’ll have to outwit the soldiers and infiltrate their army. This time, no one is going to stand in her way not even King Henry V’s spy, Sir James Frost.
The charming Sir James Frost captures the likeness of his prey with charcoal and parchment. This time, a plot to kill the king is uncovered, and it leads to Terrwyn’s family. When he discovers the maiden hiding amongst the archers, his attention is divided between protecting his king and the woman who pierced his heart with her passion.

My journey as an author
Have you always dreamed of being an author? Do you love telling stories to friends and family members? Is writing your creative passion or way to escape? If so, I encourage you to consider pursuing a career as an author. It might seem daunting, but achieving your dreams is absolutely possible.
Take me for instance, I grew up on a farm in the Midwest and quickly learned to escape the never-ending chores by storytelling. I’d slip off to the barn or the fields and settle into a book that would take me away. Before long, I started creating my own stories to keep myself entertained.
Eventually, career responsibilities prevailed and I put away my storytelling, but never my love for reading. That all changed one year, after a fabulous trip to England. I came home and my fascination with historical romance blossomed from a reader into a storyteller. Once the idea struck, I just couldn’t get it out of my head. I had to write.
So, I began the arduous task of learning all I could about writing a story. And things never stopped. In fact, to this day, those lessons continue.
I believe there are wonderful courageous characters waiting for someone to tell their story. When I write, my goal is to capture a moment in time, where the threads of history, adventure, hope, passion, and love, sweep the reader away. Each time I begin a new novel I’m excited to discover my character’s stories.
I now reside in Utah where my dreams are supported by my very own hunky knight in shining armor and our four dogs. This journey would be so much harder and lonelier without their love.
I invite you to share in my dreams by picking up a copy of one of my Knights of the Swan books. I believe you will get swept away to magical lands where princesses live in castles and really do swoon over handsome knights. After all, my books are: “Where Medieval history and passion and unite”

Here’s what readers are saying about the Knights of the Swan series
Are you tired of reading the same old novels about detectives catching bad guys or powerful women running fashion houses? If so, maybe it’s time to put those books down and turn the page so to speak.
How about falling in love with a historical romance? My Knights of the Swan Series now includes three installments:
KNIGHT SECRETS: THE KNIGHTS OF THE SWAN BOOK #1
KNIGHT QUESTS: THE KNIGHTS OF THE SWAN BOOK #2
KNIGHT TREASURES: KNIGHTS OF THE SWAN, BOOK #3
And a fourth will hit digital retailers in July of 2018:
SIR NATHAN’S STORY: KNIGHT FURIES: KNIGHTS OF THE SWAN #4
If you’re wondering what to expect, here’s a handful of reviews from some of my readers:
“It’s a refreshing change to find a Historical romance that ISN’T a Regency. This one is set in 1415, during the early years of the reign of King Henry V of England. It even features a historically verifiable fact, Henry’s departure for France in the summer of 1415.”
“Frankly, that’s quite impressive; historical accuracy in romances set in the Middle Ages isn’t exactly a given (don’t talk to me about potatoes). Knight Secrets, however, is an exception; meticulously researched and beautifully written, the historical knowledge of the author is very much on display here.”
“There are a few questions left unanswered in the book, but I suspect that’s deliberate, with a few loose ends to be tied off in other books in the series. They don’t detract at all from the story, which is an excellent, period-accurate romance…”
“I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’ll be looking out for more of C.C. Wiley’s work in future. 5 stars.“
“Fun, arresting and action-packed, Wiley’s first Knights of the Swan book will put readers in the center of action. The love scenes are hot and tender, the characters are well defined and the protagonists’ rocky road to romance is entertaining.”
