Photo - The vet finally got the results of the "colored" slide (biopsy) from Meri's ear and they have concluded that he simply has a chronic condition of "ear itchiness." Scab won't heal because I can't keep him from scratching it off. And NO a collar will
The vet finally got the results of the "colored" slide (biopsy) from Meri's ear and they have concluded that he simply has a chronic condition of "ear itchiness." Scab won't heal because I can't keep him from scratching it off. And NO a collar will not work as he will hurt himself trying to get to that ear. Gabapentin works really well to keep him off of it for a few days. Three days at the most with a hit of Zyrtec once a day. The vet said she will talk to other vets about how to move forward. As in, what might work best for him. Poor guy.

This is the biggest cat we have, the blue-jay cat, doing what he does best! NO OTHER CAT I have is as interested in getting out of the cat enclosure as he is. It's like he's made of putty!! LOL
