Update

I pitched a manuscript at our recent RWA
conference and I hope to hear back by November. I do hope they like my work.
It's set in Rural Australia, with a mystery and suspense thread that is
somewhat different to what I usually write. With Traditional Publishers
it's whether the work is publishable, is it marketable? Will it appeal to a
wide audience, will it sell the first print run, and will

Deadlines

I'm back from the RWA Conference and now I've set myself some serious deadlines. So, I'll be AWOL for a time, engaged in the world of romance, suspense and mystery.

I have posted photographs up on my FB Author page if anyone is interested. I also explain what I'll be up to. The link is on the FB icon to your right.

BTW, I had a great time at the conference. Draining, exhausting but seriously

Reviews

It's time for a coffee break so I thought I'd share a few reviews with you of The Farm Sitter.

Authors appreciate reviews as they can make or break an author. So thank you from the bottom of my heart to all readers who have undertaken a review of any of my novels. In fact thank you to readers who have purchased my books. :)

Oh, there is one that is not so good, but as usual any review good or

A big thank you

With The Farm Sitter remaining at #1 on Amazon Au Western Best Sellers list for five weeks since publication, I am delighted. It is also steady in the Best Sellers Romantic Suspense section currently #5. This makes me want to write more, do better and ensure readers will enjoy their reading journey when they purchase my novels.

I'm writing for most part of today, and hopefully

Australian Romance Readers

I'm guest blogging at  ARRA today speaking about romance. There's also a copy of The Farm Sitter to be won, or if you've read that one, you can chose either Outback Fever or Outback Flames. I'd love to see some new faces there, that is, if you have time.

Australian Romance Readers

Thank you. :)

A Pleasant Surprise

With five books in the top 100 on Amazon Au, all I can say is thank you to readers who purchased my books.

I found this on Amazon Au moments ago and although I'm still unsure of how it all works, lol, it is a lovely surprise, so thank you.

The Farm Sitter, with a Best Seller badge Wow. It is also steadily remaining at #1 and #2 in the western section, and #5 in the Romantic Suspense section.

Behind the scenes of The Farm Sitter

I wanted to share with you some pictures I used for inspiration while writing 'The Farm Sitter.'

    FARVIEW

The main house of Farview. This house really triggers my imagination. I used it once before in a novel. lol.... I'm drawn to it.

Iron bark is the name of the small town one hours drive from Farview.

This is the area where the truck was hidden on Farview soil.
