Battleframe Video
I had a lot of fun with the family across Easter putting together the Battleframe video below. I hope that you enjoy it and are a surprised as I was by what happened about of a third of the way in.
I would like to thank my wife Roselyn and daughter Sarah that provided some of the character voices. They did a great job....with some very bad acting from yours truly. I used freesound.org for some of the sound effects and music....it's a great site.

Easter, Videos and Book Two
It’s Easter and a great time to catch-up on all of the little things that seemed to get forgotten in the rush and excitement of the last few weeks. So after reintroducing myself to my wife and children I gave myself a little break from writing….well, sort of anyway.
Book two in the Mindwars is already taking shape in my imagination and 25% is down on paper. It starts immediately after Battleframe and I think that it is shaping up to be a really interesting read that expands the reader’s knowl...

Battleframe Gets Reviewed!
Since releasing Battleframe just over a week ago my schedule has been chaotic. I’ve been getting to bed at around 3am most nights as there is just so much to do….and it’s all good.
For a start, I’ve received two reviews on Amazon so far which is awesome considering that it probably takes at least a week to read the book. Sales continue to increase and really positive feedback from readers is coming in from other quarters.

My SciFi Book Battleframe Arrives!
For the past few days I’ve been watching my UPS package traverse the world with the first copies of my book, Battleframe. As I tracked the package I’d say to my wife Roselyn, “It’s in Honolulu!” this was then followed up by, “It’s now in Australia!” and then finally, there was a knock at the door…..
With our son Timothy taking photos and Roselyn on a video camera I slowly opened the box with the order of five books. Seriously, my heart was racing and I felt like I could barely hold the knife...

Battleframe Released on Amazon
After nearly 2 years of writing, rewriting and correcting I’ve finally published my debut science fiction book, Battleframe. It was an incredible experience clicking a button and then a few minutes later seeing it appear on Amazon! It was almost like Sheldon and Leonard in the sitcom “Big Bang Theory” when they published a paper together!

Saturday Musings - The Getting of Wisdom
I’ve been a parent for over a couple of decades now and during this time I’ve learned a few things about bringing up our children. The biggest challenge that I had to overcome within myself is to let my kids fail.
Since my own children were born, all I wanted to do was protect them from whatever may happen. Be that a stubbed toe, bullies at school or what they watch on television. A switch went off in my head that said, “I need to shield my kids from anything that can harm them.”

It Is Finished!
I’ve finally completed the final rewrite of my debut science fiction book in the Mindwars series. Later this week I’ve paid an editor to read the manuscript and mark any obvious errors. So hopefully by the end of the week I will have my finished manuscript ready for publishing. Hooray!!!
