Diane Munson, an attorney of more than twenty-five years, developed a love for writing when she was a young child and experienced a major twist of genres. She transitioned from writing briefs for judges to writing inspiring fiction for readers. She served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Washington, D.C. in the U.S. Department of Justice, where she argued cases before juries and judges. Prior to being a federal prosecutor, she was appointed by Attorney General Edwin Meese III as an official in the U.S. Department of Justice. Diane enjoyed working with Congress and the White House on policy issues. Sometimes just for fun, we pick an incident from our careers at random and verbally sketch out a plot, but we have so many, we can't write them all into novels. The real obstacle to our writing is the enjoyment of our everyday lives, including family, friends, and faith commitments. Between these and promotion of our latest book, leaves us just enough time to research and write a new thriller or romantic suspense each year. (less)

We tell all aspiring writers they should write what is in his/her heart and mi…moreIf God has given you the desire and ability to write, you should write. We tell all aspiring writers they should write what is in his/her heart and mind, if for no other reason than to share it with their children and siblings. Going to writer's conferences can help aspiring writers meet agents and publishers and also provide classes to help hone the craft of writing. The development of CreateSpace makes it possible to see your book published in affordable small quantities, and even endless quantities if more than just the family desire to read your creation. Be open to possibilities and keep writing!(less)
