Katy Perry "Waking up in Vegas"

Now, I just want to go on record as saying I LOVE the Internet. I really do. I have learned so much through so many wonderful blogs on writing, blogs on grammar, articles on plotting, tweets on characterization, etc...

Plus, don't forget all the online classes you can take while still in your pajamas! It's a beautiful thing.

Or...at least I thought all that information was a beautiful ...

Hey, all! Right now I'm in the writer's cave so if I've been a little MIA, you know why.
But I am around...

In fact, I'm around in my local library to be exact! I went online to my library to see if a book I ordered was in and then --since I was there at my computer already, mind you--decided to see if MY book was there. And it is! In fact, my lovely library ordered tw...

Old Manuscripts: Hidden Gems Within?

IN THE NEWS:Man listed dog as dependent in lunch scam. Read more HERE.

I remember having a discussion with a friend about first manuscripts. Needless to say, we had both shuddered when we thought about our own hidden away in our computer files. We put so much work and effort into what we had written then. And it would never see the light of day. Was it all a waste of time?
Well, deep down inside I know it's not. If you don't write, you don't grow as a writer. We all know that. So anything...

RECENT IPOD DOWNLOAD: "Glitter in the Air" by Pink

If you're Christian, you already know that in the New Testament there is a parable about a rich man about to embark on a long journey, so he entrusts three of his servants with "talents" of money.

Remember that one? No?

Oh. Well, the first servant is given five talents, the second is given two, and the last is given one talent. The first two servan...
