PenBlock!

So, there's this site called PenBlock. I'm still not 100% on how to use it. As far as I can tell, it's like Pinterest for books. I think.

Anyway!! It's a cool place and you can go check out what folks are reading and share your favourite reads, as well. They also promote independent authors and thus, I have a little feature thing up on the blog there at the moment.

Review - "Blood Work"

The ever wonderful Mihai at Dark Wolf's Fantasy Reviews has put up a great review of Blood Work .

He says some very complimentary things, so I'm a bit excited about it!

Doctor Who

So, I used to watch Dr Who when I was much, much younger. My favourite doctors were, naturally, Tom Baker and the guy who used to play Tristan on "All Creatures Great and Small". It was part of the afternoon TV line-up, which regularly included such classics as The Goodies, Danger Mouse, Metal Mickey and Banana Man. The recent revamp of the series never caught my attention. I would see snippets every now and then while visiting my sister and sit patiently through her "David Tennant is spunky"...

I watched Sharknado last night. Technically, it's the second time I've watched it, but this time, I made it all the way to the end! Still not sure how I feel about that, though.
