The Brave New World Has Been Realized

Twenty-five years after his popular novel Brave New World was published, Aldous Huxley wrote the nonfiction work Brave New World Revisited to directly explain how society can be managed by a select few without force. Unfortunately, his ideas seem to have been used as a blueprint, because what he wrote is more relevant today than when the book was released in 1958.

The elites are obsessed with the agenda of depopulation

The problem of rapidly increasing numbers in relation to natural resources, ...

Western Medicine Is Dead

Once vaunted as the most respected professional field, Western medicine has been corrupted by the scientism of the times, reduced to a pill-popping and vaccine-injecting shamanism that no longer cures diseases but prolongs them. Medicine used to bring solace and hope to people, but now it is the grim reaper, the bringer of suffering, confusion, false hope, and unnecessary death. We’re fast approaching the stage where it may be better not to seek medical care at all for the most serious of illnes...

What Is Orthodox Christianity?

The Orthodox Faith, Worship, and Life by Hieromonk Gregorios caught my eye when I was browsing through the St. Herman’s Monastery bookstore in California. Since I was baptized as a child, I had never been properly catechized in the Armenian Church, so I figured I could use some additional instruction. (Note: The Armenian Church is in the Oriental Orthodox branching of Orthodoxy which is deemed schismatic by the author and those in Eastern Orthodoxy because of a Christological issue.)

What is fa...

Why Does The Supermarket Play Pop Music?

I don’t go out much these days, but when I do, it’s to the supermarket. I need to eat food to survive, and since I don’t grow my own food, I must buy it from the supermarket. Whenever I do go, assuming there isn’t someone yelling at me for not wearing a face mask, I hear music at a volume that is just loud enough for me not to ignore. For as long as I can remember, the supermarket has played music, not just supermarkets in the Washington DC area but every supermarket I’ve traveled to in over twe...

Don’t Fear Poverty

On Wealth and Poverty is my second book by Saint John Chrysostom, a Church Father who is venerated in both the Catholic and Orthodox Church. It is difficult to find a set of his complete works so the best I can do is read booklets like this that are focused on a defined topic area.

Sharing the Gospel

For when thou sowest the seed, and the hearer receives it not, and does not bring forth the fruit of obedience, thou hast the reward of thy intent, laid up with God; and thou wilt receive the same ...

Silicon Valley Platforms Are A Bad Deal

On July 13, 2020, YouTube deleted my main channel with nearly 60,000 subscribers. Fourteen years of labor and love that I spent building up a channel were gone in an instant. Since then, I’ve realized the folly of using any kind of Silicon Valley platform in order to present my work to the public.

The two biggest draws of the platform are the convenience and the user base. By the time you encounter a platform that could be useful, it already has tens of thousands—if not millions—of users. Wouldn...

The Demons Among Us

Demons by Fyodor Dostoevsky is a story about a revolutionary cadre that attempts to wreak havoc on a Russian village as part of their quest to overthrow the traditional order. It features intense psychological descriptions and analysis by Dostoevsky to reveal the deep-seated emotions and feelings that drive revolutionary behavior.

America Is A Dumping Ground For Junk

In the past two decades, the quality of products I purchase online or in retail stores has greatly declined. Most of what I buy today are not even finished products—they require a bit of tinkering or modification to perform as advertised, regardless of how many “five star” reviews they’ve garnered. I’m coming to the realization that corporations see us as fools who will buy anything, and will keep unloading junk onto us because we’ll keep buying it.

A friend told me a curious fact. Weber barbecu...
