No installment today

Since my sister and her hubby and kids will be leaving tomorrow, and my nephew's turning seven tomorrow too we are having a family thing.

My mother is doing better-- she'd broken out in hives on Sunday and by Monday she could hardly open her eyes. Doctor gave her a shot and some meds and she's almost cleared up.

I will try for an installment tomorrow, although it will depend on who takes my sis and family to the airport and what have you.

Every comment, every e-mail, has helped so much. My mother and I both thank you. I know the pain will fade, but right now it is still very sharp, and I am not quite in the headspace I need to be to write. Sitting still for too long invites thoughts I'm not up to handling just yet. Hi y'all, and thank you so much, every one of you, for every comment, e-mail, just all the kindness y'all have extended. My dad passed away late last night with my mother and I at his side. This happened very quickly, y'all know, so my head is a bit fuzzy and my heart is pretty damn sore.

But, I've read every comment and e-mail, and y'all have helped more than y'all know. My mother, sister, and I, along with my kiddos, all thank you.

I will get the blog back on schedule next week, probably Tues...

It's been a hectic day. I'd meant to try to find some free nekkid pics that we could all enjoy, but didn't get the chance.

I am bushed from writing all day and am going to sleep. I need to reply to comments, and will hopefully do that tomorrow barring any drama/trauma/whatever unexpected crapola life chunks at me. Wow, that sounds down, but I'm not particularly anything other than worn out.
I will tell y'all, my parents got a call two days ago telling them my dad had an appointment with the oncologist today, and we were all, what? Why? Y'all said he was cancer free.
