Not to whine, I'm just stating a fact-- today has been a crap day. Tomorrow has got to be better, though. That's what I'm going to keep telling myself.

Shaughnessy rolled over and debated opening his eyes. Considering how late he’d stayed up chasing the moon, the merits of peeking out of his gritty lids seemed nonexistent. He flopped an arm over his face. A whiff of his pit and his eye popped open . Jesus, he smelled like he hadn’t bathed in a week. Not unusual considering last night he’d rolled in shit he’d rather not think about. “Better get up, Bud,” a familiar voice growle...

The installment will either be up really late tonight or sometime tomorrow. Amber was in the ER in the early morning hours, hurting so bad she couldn't stand up straight. They were prepping her for gall bladder removal when the CT scans showed her gall bladder was fine, but the lymph nodes in her stomach were inflamed, pinching the lining of it in places. Been a sleepless night and a busy day running herd on Elijah, and getting Amber's meds etc. But there'll be an installment, just..late. Sor...

I don't know what is in the air today, but I am worn out. It's not even 7 yet and bed is looking really good-- and not for any fun reason other than sleeping.

So...

I'm not sure I'll have an installment up today. As I just posted on FB...There's been extremely high winds and gusts of over 45 mph all day. I thought we might have a tree take out a car of ours, as we have lots of trees, but no. Not so far at least. Instead, this tree was uprooted, and fell across the alley, crushed the neighbor's fence, part of their shed, and took out a window on their motor home.
I am trying really REALLY hard not to whine.
