"Sweet, touching story with a dash of humor - loved it!"

"The Parrot Talks in Chocolate"

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet, touching story with a dash of humor - loved it!, March 29, 2013By Nunja Business (LA (Lower Alabama)) - See all my reviewsThis review is from: The Parrot Talks in Chocolate (The Life and Times of a Hawaiian Tiki Bar #1) (Kindle Edition)This charming story was slightly unexpected and completely satisfying. I foresaw some of the events, but was surprised by others. The author has a very unique style and definitely one I enjoyed. Having visited Hawaii a number of times, I found the tone and setting was dead on accurate and descriptive of the feel of the place. The characters were likable, memorable and ultimately a big part of why the story worked for me. I was given a free review copy of this book, but having read it, I would not hesitate to buy more of Everett Peacock's works in the future. Hawaii and its residents should be proud of the representation given here.

....here are the three covers in the series....click for links to Amazon.com (paperback and ebook)

FREE "Escaping the Magnificent"

March 23, 24, 25  FREE at Amazon.com

the marketing blurb....

It’s no surprise that Candace is dreading returning to her “real” life. When her days for the past month have been filled with the sun’s caress and the smell of plumeria, it is impossible to imagine she’ll be leaving that kind of magic behind. Especially when the life waiting for her holds nothing nearly as exciting as Adrian, the bartender who serves her drinks at Tiwaka’s Tiki Bar and Grill.

But it’s not just the promise of romance that is making the thought of leaving painful. There is something peculiar and wonderful about the island. Candace feels it all around her and especially when she meets Bucky, an older man on the verge of homelessness who seems to recognize her, and a woman crying on the beach to whom she’s oddly drawn.

With Adrian and Bucky’s help, Candace discovers the truth of why she feels so at home on that island, but, most importantly, she learns that love has no boundaries…not even those of time.
