corpi interrotti, libertà sottratta, mondi compressi

Un corpo in una gabbia, visto da fuori, è un corpo interrotto.
Da dentro quei frammenti mancanti
sono scavati nella carne di chi non può più esistere.

E poi altre gabbie, senza sbarre apparenti,
ugualmente violente e sottrattive
costruite da altri invisibili, oscuri noi stessi.

Sottraiamo libertà ai nostri corpi - atomi indecenti
quasi non fossimo più pronti a vederne l'interezza.

Proclamiamo inni vuoti e comprimiamo un mondo
a nostra immagine e somiglianza.
Nient'altro, se non un riflesso.
...
A quell'intero non conforme che non siamo più
