Sunday Snog – Meet Me at the Spanish Steps
Hi everyone. Here’s a kiss plucked from the smutty pages of my latest release, The Perfect Dom. It’s an erotic anthology with a BDSM theme, so is very kinky and there’s not an awful lot of snogging, but I managed to find this one from Meet Me at the Spanish Steps. Enjoy!
I frowned, wondering what was ‘up’ from here. It was a public access area, so it obviously didn’t lead to any private dwellings or premises. Seconds later, the lift pinged its arrival, and, always the gentleman, William indicated I should go ahead of him. As soon as the doors closed—mercifully we hadn’t been joined by anyone else—he was upon me.
His hands grabbed my hips and pushed me against the grubby, graffiti-covered metal wall of the lift. Pinning me there with his entire body—and I certainly didn’t miss the fact that there was an eager erection pressing into my stomach—he leaned down to kiss me. Only it wasn’t just any kiss. “All we need to do is keep fucking.”
I think of this play on the Pink Floyd song title “Keep Talking” as I prepare to put the finishing touches on my new book The Lust Series Part 2: The Reckoning. I am sitting in a Pret a Manger on 54th and Park in Midtown having a cappuccino and considering how to repay the beautiful, talented and gracious Lucy Felthouse for allowing me the privilege of this guest blog. First of all yes, they do have Pret in New York and yes I go there because I lived in London for most of my life and it reminds me of “home”. But now I live here, writing Pulp and Erotic fiction and I must say I’m constantly surrounded by potential inspiration. Take the woman who just walked in. She’s a tall, slim brunette, wearing a Burberry trench coat that is pulled tight. If this was one of the many bars I frequent in the evenings I would introduce myself, but in my hung-over state I cradle my coffee and try to guess what’s going on in her mind. Is she thinking about an affair she discovered her husband is having? Perhaps the boss she has constant flirtation with? Perhaps something less novel worthy like a new case of raging thrush or something mundane like what groceries to buy. That is the curse that all of us face as writers, a constant obsession with the thoughts of potential characters.
The woman looks at me and smiles, to some extent I am guilty of eye-fucking her but really I’m just thinking about my book, and this blog. And then it hits me. It was some years ago that I saw a show on TV about what it took to keep a relationship together over a number of years. As a writer who constantly dwells on the realistic nature of relationships and marriage I found this show particularly fascinating. Not because of the psychological analysis that bored me rigid but because each couple they interviewed included one simple factor that kept their relationships together. All of them, and I mean all of them said their secret was that they could fuck through anything. I think they meant challenges in their relationships as opposed to a hurricane or an earthquake, but it raised an interesting point and was a rare recognition of the power of sex in our relationships.
Now I realize in my case I am following their advice although I’m a single guy, but nevertheless I can’t help but think the celebration of erotica and all of you continuing to read books like my own and Lucy’s can only help stoke the fire that may keep yourselves in happy relationships, whatever that may mean for you. So the next time you’re having a coffee in Pret, think of me and remember if you’re in a relationship all you need to do is keep fucking.

Sunday Snog/Blissekiss Chase – Loose Ends
Here’s a delicious snog from my erotic romance short story, Loose Ends. I’ve shared this particular snog before, but it’s one of my favourites and the story is packed full of romance, so I thought it was especially appropriate to include in Blissekiss Chase.
His next move took me completely by surprise. Downing the rest of his drink and putting his empty glass on the table, he said, “May I have this dance?”
Given the song was cheesy pop, it wasn’t as romantic as it sounded. Still, I wasn’t going to waste the opportunity—both to dance to my favorite song and to potentially cop a feel—so I finished my own drink and took his proffered hand.
This was no romantic slow dance; we weren’t even touching. But, after a couple of minutes of bopping around, we both realised how silly we were being and started laughing. I was almost doubled over at one point, and when I looked back up, my mirth instantly disappeared.
Jonathan was looking at me with such a serious expression that I thought something was wrong.
“What’s up?”
He said nothing, grabbing my hands and pulling me to him. My blood was already thundering through my veins as a result of the attempted dancing and subsequent giggling, so it was a wonder that the sudden proximity didn’t make me explode.
The look in his eyes was earnest, his expression serious. “I still want you, you know.”
Then, he kissed me. There was no messing around—well, apart from the previous eight years, of course—he just leaned down and pressed his lips to mine. Without a thought about public displays of affection, I slipped my arms around his waist and kissed him back, opening my mouth to admit his tongue.
It was incredible. The culmination of eight years of sexual tension and unexplored feelings. I could feel my pussy juices dampening my thong, and Jonathan’s cock pressed insistently against my stomach. If I’d have been someone else looking at us, I’d have been telling us to “get a room”.
After a few seconds, I became horribly self-aware of the fact that other people were probably thinking just that. I pulled away from the kiss, then stood on tiptoes to reach Jonathan’s ear.
“Is everyone staring at us?” I didn’t dare look around and see if anyone was giving us disapproving glares.
“No,” he replied, with his arms still encircling my waist. “I don’t think anybody noticed.”
“Phew. I had visions of people shouting at us to get a room!” I laughed, then stopped abruptly when he spoke.
“Well, why don’t we?”

Heartbreaker Blog Hop
Ooh, heartbreakers. Sometimes they’re good boys, sometimes they’re bad boys. Either way, they’re pretty damn popular when it comes to fiction. I’ve penned a heartbreaker or two myself. One of my favourites is Drew from my erotic fiction story, A Bit of Rough. He’s a playboy, the sort of guy that’s not good at settling down with a woman. My character, Alison, knows this but goes home with him anyway, because a bit of fun (and a bit of rough!) is exactly what she’s looking for. This was a great fun story to write and I’ve had lots of feedback from readers about Drew. He’s the bad boy women love to hate!
