Punking George Galloway
For a while I’ve had a theory that opponents of Israel will get behind anything anti-Israel, without giving the accuracy of it a moment’s thought. So, on Sunday evening after I wrote this post about rocket attacks on Israel, I thought I’d put my theory to the test. I tweeted George Galloway MP the link [...]

Then and now
I am reading a book called The Boy, in which Israeli historian Dan Porat unravels the story around perhaps the most powerful image of the Holocaust. It is the image of a Jewish boy, with his hands up, outside the Warsaw Ghetto. This morning, Gaza terrorists again scheduled their rocket fire to coincide with the [...]

Once upon a time in America
My biography of Adele was also published in America yesterday. It’s already been a bestseller in several countries, so here’s hoping for more of the same in the States. I’m pleased to say the mighty USA Today has run a feature on it.

The Dead Sea mystery
Morten Berthelsen has written a hilariously entertaining article about the culinary wonders, or lack thereof, on offer at the Dead Sea. Personally, I absolutely love the Dead Sea; it’s the first place I visited in Israel and will forever be special to me. During my first flight to Israel a beautiful Scottish Jewess I befriended [...]

Meet MEET
Want to feel inspired, and full of confidence for the future of both the Israelis and the Palestinians? Then watch this cool video about the work of MEET, presented by Amin Manna and Yuval Yogev. I wish them and MEET every success and energy. We can learn much from their example.

Delightful deliveries
A lovely bundle of mail arrived today. Firstly, there were finished copies of the forthcoming American edition of my Adele biography. Although several of my books are already on sale in America, this is the first time an American publisher has bought the rights to one of my books. I am just as thrilled as [...]

Hurricane Sandy
Good luck to NYC and beyond – the people and the pets. G-d bless America. Speaking of the people of New York, one of them writes a blog I have been really enjoying over recent weeks. Elad Nehorai describes his Pop Chassid blog thusly: ‘Judaism. Torah. Pop culture. Somehow, they mix.’ Somehow they do, and [...]

‘Whining’ about ‘pathetic’ rockets
The rockets that terrorists from Gaza fire into Israel have killed and maimed many Israelis. For instance, between 2006 and 2011, 44 Israelis were killed and 1,687 injured by Gaza rockets. These figures include many children, as terrorists often fire rockets when Israeli children are walking to school. More than one million Israelis live in [...]

Ooh, ah, Ahava…
Ahava, the beautiful Israeli cosmetics company that has been targeted by ugly boycotters, has announced it is expanding into seven new countries, and expects a 10 percent growth in sales in the coming year. Gosh, how embarrassing for the BDS muppets! You can find out more about Ahava’s products here. Why not buy some? Their [...]
