Cover for Pump Me Up

I just received the cover art for Pump Me Up, the follow up to Spot Me, and I have to say that this one is droolalicious.   The story is releasing June 9, 2010  from Dreamspinner Press, but I just couldn't keep this hunk-o-rama all to myself.   I'd really love to hear what you think...

Excerpt from My First Bacchanal

I felt it all at once, the ache, the longing, the drive, I had to have it, I needed it or I’d explode.  I’d felt this same way each month at the full moon ever since I’d reached adulthood.  You see, I am a satyr and each month on the full moon, satyrs gather for the Bacchanal.  A night of wine, women and song.  Well in my case, a night of wine, men, and more men, at least I hoped.  This was to be my very first Bacchanal and I was going out of my mind with excitement...

Excerpt from The Sin of Omission

This is a excerpt from one of my satyr short stories.  Hope you give it a try.

Chapter 1 - Selvan

“I love Brad, I trust Brad.”  I walked into Brad’s bedroom.  The bedroom that last night he’d asked me to share with him on a permanent basis. “Then why is this so hard?”  I actually said the words out loud as I walked from room to room completing my daily chores, trying to keep myself busy.  I knew the answer to my question was because I’d waited to long to tell him.  Brad hates secrets and he’s...

Bottled Up got a Recommended Read from Fallen Angel Reviews

I want to thank at Nene Fallen Angel Reviews for giving Bottled Up the coveted Recommended Read for April 2010.

Andrew Grey is a remarkable story weaver. I was sucked into this story from the first few lines. His characters are always well written, and believable. Sean's reaction to Bobby made my parental side proud. You would always hope there is someone out there who gets how wonderful children are and is willing to protect and nurture them. Well Sean got it! I absolutely loved this story. I...

The Healing Part 2

Below is the second part of my short story The Healing.  I hope you enjoy it.

The week passed quickly and I found myself on a plane home.  All week I’d been tired and lethargic with no real vitality.  But, as I arrived at the airport, I felt a surge of energy course through my body.  Heading to baggage claim, I saw Robbie waiting for me.  He hugged me tightly as he always did.  I returned the hug, running my fingers through his hair.  “I’m glad you’re home, baby.”

“Me too, I missed you.”&nbsp...

The Healing - Part 1

As a special, I've decided to offer my shory story The Healing on the blog.  I wrote this story a while ago.  This is the first half of the story.  The second half will be added in a few days.   Enjoy!!!!!

I am broken, wounded, incomplete, and I always have been.  For the last ten years, I have been with my Robbie.  He is a wonderful, caring, loving, supportive, and somewhat frustrated man.  You see in all that time, I have never been able to give myself to him.  In fact, I have never been...

Excerpt - A Small Kindness

This is an exceprt from a story I wrote a while ago.  I hope you enjoy it.

I don’t usually come to places like this, but I was feeling adventurous, looking for something different, and I felt like I was drawn to the place for some reason.  Like something in the back of my mind telling me this was the right place.  I can’t explain it, but I know that as a satyr, I occasionally get these feelings and I just have to go with it.  Besides, I figured I could always just leave.

  The bar was busy...

Excerpt - Love in War

Over time, I have written and published a number of stories.  Some of them were released over a year ago and have been seemingly lost to the mists of time.  I thought in order to liven things up a bit, I'd present some excerpts of my earlier work.  These are currently available.  I hope you find them interesting.

This is an excerpt from a short story called Love in War.  Cembran from the Children of Bacchus stories has quite a past, including serving in the Civil War.

The leader of the satyr...

Love Means... Freedom Excerpt

Love Means... Freedom is being released by Dreamspinner Press on July 5, 2010.  I received the contract a week or so ago.  I will warn you that it's unedited.  Here's an excerpt:

“Take it easy. You shouldn’t overdo it,” the therapist warned, as he watched Preston maneuvering himself between the bars.

“I want to walk!” he yelled, as he gritted his teeth and grunted. “The fucking doctor said I’d never walk again,” he grunted as he forced his legs to work. “I intend to walk up to that asshole...
