Pie Lovers Unite!

One of my favorite things about the Thanksgiving meal is the desserts, namely, the assortment of pies available. It’s always tough for me to decide between the apple pie and pecan pie, or if I’m lucky, a sweet potato pie! What about you? If you can only pick two pies, which pies would you choose? P.S. This or That: Beach Stroll or Hike in the Woods

Too Early for Christmas Lights?

I drove home in the dark a few days ago, and to my surprise, there were many Christmas lights and decorations up on houses already! Some of them even had their trees up! My rule is that I always wait until Thanksgiving, which I think is one of the loveliest holidays of the year. I believe in taking at least a day, if not more, to be thankful for all I have. Happy World Kindness Day! We all have our hard days, and on those days, a little kindness can mean all the world to someone. Even if it’s not a hard day, a little kindness can bring a smile and make the day brighter. So, if you can be anything, be kind. P.S. It’s a brisk morning here on the Jersey Shore! Temps have dipped into the thirties the last two nights, and we even had some snow flurries for a few minutes yesterday. Nothing substantial, just a warning that winter is definitely on the way. I’m not a fan of winter. It’s the one season I could do without, LOL. I much prefer fall to winter. Do You Love Guacamole or Salsa?

Every now and then, I buy a Costco chicken and use it to make meals for us. I normally get at least four different meals from one chicken, and tonight I’m going to use it to make chicken enchiladas. That makes me wonder whether I should make some guacamole to go with the enchiladas. Of course, there’s also the salsa or pico de gallo route. Which would you choose? Guacamole or pico de gallo? P.S.
