Countdown!

One week to the release of Ghosts of Memories.  This is the last book in the series, and it goes out with quite a bang (smiles).  I think readers will enjoy the whole spiritualist angle here.  I often think about things like, "What might I do if I was telepathic and I was going to live forever?"

The book is out next Tuesday, October 2nd.

Romantic Times Review

Reviews for Ghosts of Memories are starting to come in.  This one is from Romantic Times Monthly.

Hendee’s gripping series fifth is a thriller that stands on its own. Delving into the fascinating world of vampires, their past and their psyches, it’s simply engrossing. The characters are very well written, with a realistic voice and depth that makes them distinctive. If you find complex psychology more interesting than the usual overdone sex drive most vampires seem to have, this series is for you.

Vampire Eleisha has learned to live without killing humans. Seeking to teach other vampires the same peaceful existence, she travels with her protector, Philip, and human friend, Wade, to find others and offer sanctuary. Julian, a sadistic vampire, stalks Eleisha. His rage against the elders of his race explodes, as he kills those he finds, always keeping Eleisha under watch. Eleisha must now confront her deadliest foe, or lose everything she cares about. (ROC, Oct., 336 pp., $7.99)
