"Where There Is Light There Can Be No Darkness"
YOU CAN HELP me change the world! Please collect your free gift and help me fill the world with light.
One of the best things to help raise your vibration, ground you in love and lift you upward is to give and receive love from a child. Comforting my granddaughter helps me a billion times more than it helps her. Yep, there ARE Angels among us!!
Young ones, who vibrate at an extremely high rate, who are innocence and love personified, who are the closest thing to heaven on Earth, are a balm for everything. Not only young humans, but baby animals too.
When I see images like I did last night, of those sweet innocent children who'd been poisoned so brutally, it renews my vows to change the world.
Sometimes we may think, "What can I do? How can I help? I have no resources." But I swear if I could only get through to everyone, that spiritual alignment through the 7 keys to unshakeable joy and especially Key number 4, the pulling of light, can change the world. I've been given this key by a Divine Being, and I know it works. But I can't do it alone. I need help.
If I could get a group of a few hundred thousand to help pull light (which only takes literally 2 seconds,) through themselves and the world, I know we can pull enough light into this world to make a difference. That light may not stop the bad guys from hurting people. However, it can help the good guys to make the right decisions, to handle things well, to stumble across the correct idea or method. Pulling light can change the world.
If you are interested in how to do this easy 2-second technique that can change the world, go to: www.mccartneygreen.com/freegift.htm and download the 7 Keys to Unshakeable Joy. The 2-second technique is Number 4.
I look forward to hearing from you. We can truly become warriors of light.@mccartneygreen #savetheworld #pulllight #callingalllightworkers #savethechildren #hugachild #love

Fight the Unbeatable Foe

Just some of my thoughts this morning. A bit disjointed, but hey, it’s Saturday!
Most who know me know that I am all about love and joy and kindness and patience and understanding. However, a few of you know that I am also a warrior. I am not afraid to stand up for what is right, to stand up for freedom, to stand against hatred and violence, to rail against ignorance. I am also not one to follow the status quo, to agree with what “everyone else” is doing.
I am a rebel. I believe in honesty and integrity in all things, business, personal relationships, with myself. Yet I also believe in tactfulness. I don’t have to tell you that I dislike your dress. What purpose would that serve?
I don’t believe in taking something that does not belong to me, standing in anyone’s way to impede their progress, or in hating people just because they don’t happen to agree with me. There are a lot of people out there who preach togetherness and love, unless you disagree with them. Then they hate just like everyone else. This saddens me, and makes me resolve to stand up and fight.
The unbeatable foe, many times, is one we cannot see. It is a thought process, or a lie, or something so giant and unfathomable we cannot even describe it. We only know it is dark and looming and has the ability to destroy.
Freedom comes with responsibility. Freedom comes with caveats. We are free to do what we please as long as that freedom does NOT infringe on others' freedom, life or property.
So, love whom you want to love, hate whom you want to hate, that is your right. Notwithstanding, you have no right to harm, to infringe, to destroy OPP.
We need to remember that nothing good can ever come from anger, hatred or darkness.
One of my very favorite quotes came from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr..
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
Does this mean that we should tolerate evil? No. We shall stand against evil. So let's be clear on what evil is. It is anything that tries to take away your individual freedom to choose. Remember though, freedom’s caveat... And remember, that doesn't mean your choices won't have consequences. So choose well.

The MOST Attractive thing on a Football Field
Football can be a beautiful thing visually. All the bright colors, bands with a heavy beat, big strong guys in colorful tight pants. I love football and.... well....I hate football! I will try to explain my bipolar reaction to the game.
I've always understood the game. Back when I was cheerleader in high school, we actually knew what was happening on the field. We were as into it as the players and actually believed if we revved the crowd up enough, we could help the outcome of the game. Waaaay back then, every school's cheerleaders and bands thought of themselves as the "12th man." Being quite the tomboy, I also played football with a lot of the guys who were on our high school team at weekend pick-up games. I was fast and intercepted many passes much to the admiration of those boys. Back then, football was plain ol' fun.
Then my 5 sons played football. All quarterbacks. All really good. And suddenly football became much more serious. I was that mom, the QB's mom, pacing either on the top stadium seats or behind the stands. Nerve racking. We all got through it. Now, one of my sons is coaching high school ball, and one of my grandsons is a high school QB. I thought I was over it, the nerves, the anticipation. And I AM much better than I used to be. But I admit, I've felt those old worries and stresses coming back. The old wanting to scream at a ref, or yell, "Are you freaking kidding me," at the play the coach just sent in. I don't yell at the players anymore, because I've begun to see them all as my own children and know they are doing the best they can do. I think it was the politics of football that made me want to distance myself as far from the game as possible.
Still, when it turns fall, and the excitement builds as each team believes they are going to do better this season, and tail-gating takes off, and the bands rev up I feel the old pleasure from a long time ago. With all that, there is one thing, to me, that is the most attractive thing on that football field and it's something I wish we could see more of, something I wish the coaches and parents would think is more important...and that is...a show of good sportmanship. Whether it's putting in your "twos" when the score is 45 to zip, or no late hitting when you're frustrated because you're losing, or even just the helping up of an opposing player. Yeah, when one player helps up a player on the opposing team, that is THE most attractive thing! Of course, I realize they may not be saying something nice. They're probably saying, "Come at me again and I'll knock you down again..." (I cleaned that up, lol.) But I like to picture in my rose-colored world, that they are doing what Andrew Luck is thought to be doing.... paying a compliment to the player for a great effort.
Yep, a show of good sportsmanship is really, really attractive...not just in football, but in every sport, in every game, in every thing. It's one of the things that sets us apart as humans. Would sure love to see more of it. How about you?

How to Celebrate Valentine's Day if You're Single
I’ve written 8 Romance novels, so, I feel I would be amiss if I didn’t write a little something about Valentine’s Day. I love love. I love the celebration of love. When I come upon a couple holding hands or kissing in public, it doesn't bother me. I find myself grinning and wanting to ask them about their love for each other.
The origin of Valentine’s Day is not the most romantic story and in my mind has no bearing on the celebration of this day. To me, Valentine’s Day is an excuse to share some romance, some hugs and kisses (chocolate ones!) with the one(s) you love.
However, Valentine's Day is also that time when I hear and read many complaints from people about how Valentine’s Day is nothing but a commercial holiday encouraging people to buy chocolate and flowers and Hallmark cards and how we’re all fools for falling for it. It’s a time when I read blogs from single people about how cruel Valentine’s Day is, about how they resent seeing hearts and flowers everywhere, and not be able to get a reservation in a restaurant. They resent being reminded they don’t have a current relationship.
I get it, really I do. However, I just don’t feel sorry for you, mostly because feeling sorry for someone is a negative concept and only adds energy to the problem. So because I love you and care about you, I refuse to commiserate with you. The hard ass in me wants to tell you that as long as you have that attitude, which is really resentment for other people’s happiness and joy, then your joy will be a while in coming. But, hey, I won’t say it. I retract that statement, because I also want to handle your tender feelings with gentle care.
I want to tell you that I love you. I really do. I have compassion for you. Mostly though, I want to encourage you to look at Valentine’s Day in a new and different light. When you see a couple snuggling in the booth at the restaurant, smile, and be happy for them. Smile, and imagine yourself in a wonderful relationship, for seeing it in your own eye will help to draw it to you. When you’re standing in line at the grocery story behind a guy purchasing a balloon and chocolates, instead of rolling your eyes, try this. Try thinking of the tired mom, who gets home from work, helps the kids with homework, throws in a load of laundry, figures out what to make for dinner and opens up her bedroom door to find a balloon and a box of chocolates waiting for her on the dresser. It’s no big deal. It’s merely an expression of love and appreciation from her spouse. Don’t you want her to smile, and feel appreciated?
Don’t you care about the joy and happiness of the women and men who use this day as a good time to remember their loved one with a little something special? Yes, we should do that everyday, however, holidays and celebrations are made to take us out of the tedium of every day life and make us stop for a minute and appreciate what we have. A time to celebrate love.... what could possibly be wrong with that? It’s wrong because you envy others what they have? Time to awaken and change up that attitude.
If you’re single, try to look at it this way; Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love, whether you are in a relationship or not. Celebrate the love your best friend shares with her guy, or the love your sister shares with her hubby, or the love your parents share with their mates, or the first love of a little boy in fifth grade. In other words, try sending love out. Change up that resentful attitude with one of appreciation for all the love people share in the world. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, for that is about as attractive as a mangy rat. Glory in the love you see all around you and send your love out to join it, and you may be finding that when you do that, love comes back to you threefold.
Love is happiness and happiness is a choice. Choose wisely.

We Are NOT All One! Though we ARE All Connected
We are NOT all “one.” Every time someone writes that on some meme, or some blog or some Facebook musing, I cringe. I usually keep my mouth shut, for to disagree with that sweet sentiment makes me seem like such an ogre. But I simply must disagree. We are not all one, but we ARE all connected.
We are all one, sounds so loving, doesn’t it? Most people are naturally loving and so would gravitate toward this kind of thinking. But it’s a trick. Don’t get me wrong. I am not about hate, or division. I believe in love and compassion for everyone. That does not mean we should give up our "I"-ness. We should not give up our individual rights, freedoms, preferences, unless, of course, those preferences interfere with anyone else and their rights.
We are meant to be individuals. Individuals that think differently, that have different opinions, different preferences, different ideas of fun, different favorite colors, different talents and capabilities. We have different life circumstances, different opportunities and that is because we each have different things to learn in this life and different paths to walk.
This “all one” concept is a collective view and is an affront to my personal freedom, and an affront to your freedom as well. It is a way to indoctrinate people, who have not been taught in public school of the evils of communism, socialism and totalitarianism.
However....we ARE all connected. What one does affects others, which affects others, which affects others. So in exercising our freedom, we need to take responsibility too. We need to be loving and compassionate towards all. Even tolerant of what others believe, as long as those beliefs do not interfere with anyone’s rights, life, liberty or property. I need to put in a caveat right here. Never be tolerant of evil. Never compromise with evil. Evil seeks to take away individual freedom. Evil is known by its works. Look around. You can spot it fairly easily today for evil has become brazen. The only ones who can’t spot it are the ones who have bought into the “we are all one” diatribe and can’t see the evil for it is dressed in lamb’s clothing.
We are individuals having individual experiences, learning individual lessons and evolving at an individual rate. As individuals, we can help others, or not, interact with others, or not. It is what we do with our lives that is our choice, and we will reap the rewards or consequences.
If man is, that he might have joy, then I suggest we all share love and kindness and create beauty, for that is what brings joy. May I suggest that we are each individually responsible for our own happiness and yes, may find even more joy in helping others to find their happiness. Not by doing it for them, but by being a shining light to all you see. That is your connection! Each light adding it’s glow until the world is shining in light and love. But don’t forget that those are each individual points of light with stories all their own.

We Are NOT All One!
We are NOT all “one.” We may all be connected, but we are not all “one.” Every time someone writes that on some meme, or some blog or some Facebook musing, I cringe. I usually keep my mouth shut, for to disagree with that sweet sentiment makes me seem like such an ogre. But I simply must disagree.
We are meant to be individuals. Individuals that think differently, that have different preferences, different ideas of fun, different favorite colors, different talents and capabilities. We have different circumstances, different opportunities and that is because we each have different things to learn in this life and different paths to walk.

It is a way to indoctrinate people, who have not been taught in public school of the evils of communism, socialism and totalitarianism. We are all one, sounds so loving, doesn’t it? Most people are naturally loving and so would gravitate toward this kind of thinking. But it’s a trick.
Don’t get me wrong. I am not about hate, or division. I believe in love and compassion for everyone. That does not mean we should give up our “I-ness.” We should not give up our individual rights, freedoms, preferences, unless, of course, those preferences interfere with anyone else and their rights.

Football is Life.....Not!

Sometimes I love watching football. It’s action-packed entertainment. It’s drama. It’s fun to cheer for your favorite team, especially, when you have a son, (or daughter) or people you personally know, playing on that team. Football season pretty much means a party every weekend, or, a good time every Friday night at the high school stadium, (not just for the players and spectators, but for the cheerleaders, the band members and drill teams.)
When I was younger, I loved playing football with the guys. That was always a fun time because I was athletic, I was fast, and it was always a surprise when, as a girl, I intercepted a pass, which I did many times. I was also a cheerleader in high school and one of the few who actually knew and understood what was happening on the field and I made sure they never screamed ‘DEFENSE’ when we had the ball.

Sometimes, I don’t care about football at all. Many football seasons have passed when I couldn’t care less about anything that happens on the field because I’m focusing on other, more important life events. And yes, there are many things more important than football.
And sometimes....sometimes I hate football. Much of that hatred is due to politics at the high school and college level. I had five sons who played so, believe me when I say, football is steeped in politics. Some of that hatred for football is due to everyone involved becoming so obsessed, (or even, dare I say...addicted,) with the game. The obsession to me is disgusting, just like I am disgusted by the crowd trampling each other at a World soccer event. OMG, it’s a game. It’s not more important than the young man you just stepped on.

Life is the laughter of a child. Life is the wonderful feeling you get when you create something. Creation is the expansion of the Universe. Now that’s life! Singing to someone who is ill, stroking their forehead, easing their pain, that is life. Encouraging a friend, feeding the hungry, writing a song, planting a garden – add all those things to being the best you can be on a field of sports or on any physical level, and that is life. Life is inclusive. Life is creation. Life is joy. Life is having a ball, not being the ball!
All that being said, this year, I have decided to like football again. I will watch my grandsons with renewed enthusiasm. I will support "the Dawgs" with my husband, and support the Longhorns (bless their hearts) to honor my kids and their Dad. I will support other teams too, maybe because I like their ethics, or their traditions, or their state or because they are underdogs, or yes, even because I like their uniforms. Now, let's get those wings cookin'!

The Power of TRUE Gratitude
People talk about the power of gratitude all the time. And many times, if we’re being honest, some might think, yeah, yeah, I know, I know, be thankful for what we have...if only we had something worth being thankful for. Should I be thankful for the disease I have? Or should I be thankful for the rickety old car I have to drive? Instead of giving you an emphatic...yes... let me use the power of this video to make a point.
Now, I want to preface this video with this information. I saw this video on a viral Facebook post. The people who posted this video did it on a false premise but that’s okay because it’s the video itself that is so important. But just to satisfy your curiosity, the false premise is this...”The Most Gracious Little Boy Ever Receives A Cutting Board For A Gift Just To Test Him — And His Reaction Is The Best Thing - A young Argentinian boy was pranked by his parents on his birthday when he unwrapped a wooden cutting board they gave him.”
The truth..."The chopping board was not a prank," someone from the same country commented on the video. I tried to go back and find the same page so I could copy and paste the comment but was unsuccessful, but this is what was said in a nutshell. “Receiving the cutting board was not a prank. In this country we barbeque a lot and the chopping board means that you are welcome to eat the meat straight from the pit. It would be something like a coming-of-age custom, so that is why he was so grateful for the cutting board.”
Like I say, it doesn’t matter, because the video still shows something very, very important. Watch the video now. It’s not very long.

As I watched this video I realized it touched people because this small boy was so very grateful for both gifts. Obviously more excited about the second gift of course. Nothing wrong with that. He is so gracious and so humble and so thankful that it really touches your heart, doesn’t it? I thought to myself, this boy is so grateful it makes me want to find him and give him lots of others things he’s always wanted. That’s when it hit me.
How grateful am I for the things I have, whether it be cutting boards or Ipads?
When we are truly grateful, God, our Creator, Source Creator, the Universe, Father in heaven, Holy Father, however you might think of the energy that created our world, (for I think God doesn’t care what name you assign,) wants to give us more. Yet, God, being God, must obey the scientific laws of the Universe he created. He cannot give something of a certain vibration (for all is vibratory) to someone who is living in a different vibration. The vibration of gratitude, has a giant ability to attract more things for which to be grateful. And the stronger that gratitude, the stronger the vibration.
When we learn this, many of us will immediately shoot ourselves in the foot. We think, okay, I’ll try to count my blessings so I can get more things. Good to count our blessings, but, there is a weak vibration in a fleeting gratitude given for the express purpose of getting more. That’s why I use the term being ‘truly grateful.’ Truly. We are touched by the boy in the video because he is truly grateful. He doesn’t simply toss one gift aside as he dives for the next one. Can we slow ourselves down long enough, and take time to be truly grateful?
If my life was going to remain exactly as it is now, thinking I may pass on tomorrow, can I find true gratitude for what I’ve already received/accomplished? Here come the magic words...if I can ‘let go’ of what may come in the future, can I simply be grateful for what has already come? Isn’t it ironic how truly being grateful and really letting go of any other expectation is what will finally bring us every desire?! It happens all the time. Unable to get pregnant, a couple let’s go and adopts and then, find themselves pregnant. Unable to find a job, a guy gives up and comes up with new ideas and then the offer comes in. Unable to find a mate, a girl let’s go of the idea that she needs anyone and goes back to school, and meets the greatest guy.
Didn’t you want to give that boy even more? How grateful are we for the things we already have? The next time we wonder why we aren't receiving the things we desire, instead of being bitter, try to remember, God/the Universe wants to give us our every desire, but is waiting for us to give that certain vibration. It’s really up to us.
