DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH
October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. We need to support each other. Break the silence, tell a dear friend, a relative, anyone you can trust. Make plans to get help. Call an organization to help you, there are many. You can also find them in the back of my book BREAKAWAY. Let me know how you broke away from your abuser. I will be thrilled to hear your story.

I need help from my readers. I am publishing my second edition of my memoir/self-help book. I am changing the subtitle to this BREAKAWAY: MY ROAD TO FREEDOM. How do you like that? WOW! All abusers read this . . .
I just met a nice lady who has written a memoir about her life as a child and adult. It is amazing how many of us women have parallels in our writing. We hope that the next generation of women won't have anything horrific to write about. No abuse, no domestic violence, no rape, no murder, wouldn't that be fabulous?

Radio
On August 5th I will be a guest on a famous radio show from Sacramento, California. More info as soon as my publicist sends it to me. I have been busy feeding raccoons, deer and many other animals. The drought here is devastating to the animals. They have no food or water. It is hard times for many. Once a green state, now looks brown and desert like. Praying for rain . . .God knows we need it.

Farrah Fawcett
Farrah fought hard to live. God rest her soul. She was not recognized after death as I thought she should have been. No news about her or her life for more than three minutes. I believe the media could have done more about her demise. It is unfortunate that the authorities would not release her son to be by her side before dying. But they do allow pedophiles to be released to molest or kill children without any thought.
