Back in the office today …
… but the thing keeping me smiling is the image of Sherlock Holmes wearing nought but a high thread count Egyptian cotton sheet in a Buckingham Palace sitting room. Just becaase he was being stubborn, bloodyminded and petulant. That takes commitment.

Good advice on applying for grants
Lisa Hannett has posted some very helpful advice about applying for grants from Arts oganisations.
Have no illusions: there's not a huge pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and there are a LOT of other writers, artists, etc, applying for the same pool of money.
