Resolutions? Hmm.....
Well, it's finally the New Year. A time to think on past accomplishments and hopefully make even better ones for the future. If that's a resolution, then I'm all for it. But for making any big plans, well, I'm not one to jinx myself. Not to say that I don't have any plans for the New Year, of course I do. But like any author out there, I would much rather make my goal for the New Year more realistic.
So, what ARE my plans and goals for the New Year? Simple really. First and foremost is to write, write, write. I work full time, so sometimes, that's not as easy as I would like it to be. But that is the main goal. The others will fall in line if I follow this plan. (I hope) LOL!
As for any books coming soon, I have recently signed a contract with Cobblestone Press for a M/M Contemporary called "The Highest Bidder". It will be in print as well as e-book sometime early this year. I have also gotten the rights returned to my first three books. Those will be revised and resubmitted early this year as well. I am working on other projects also. A Japanese reincarnation that is M/F and is coming along nicely as well making outlines for follow up stories for two of my novels, "Once in a Blue Moon" and "Got Lemon's?". Those two stories got great reviews as well lots of feedback for follow ups. Who am I to ignore that?
For now, that's got my plate plenty full. Of course, plans change and the mind of a writer is ever changing. Those pesky characters sometime have louder voices than we expect. LOL! I'll update when I can should that happen.
I wish all my readers and everyone else a Happy New Year filled with love and laughter!!
Hugs!!

News - Midnight Showcase Closing
That's right, the small pub and the publisher of my first three books, is closing it's doors on the Dec. 27. One of the editors has formed her own company, Melange Press, and is taking the entire Midnight Showcase crew with her. That includes asking the authors to come along. I have declined this invitation. I felt getting the rights back and doing extensive revisions then re-submitting to another house was in my best interest. So for all those people who have marked these books to read, they will only be available till the 27th. They are also at a lower price, $3.99.
I'm sad to see Midnight Showcase close, but change happens and we have to go with it. I wish Melange Press all the best with it's opening.

News
With the holidays quickly approaching, getting any kind of writing done has slowed. But I do have a bit of good news. Cobblestone Press has offered a contract for my M/M Contemporary called What Doean't Kill You. It's set in Japan and deals with human trafficing. Think hot Japanese older man with young American college student who happens to be in the wrong place at the right time. Had a great time writing this book and hope to make a couple spin off stories with some of the secondary characters as well as a follow up with the main ones.
What I'm working on now is a Japanese reincarnation. It's M/F and I have my work cut out getting all the research done. But I have almost two chapters complete and so far it's coming along great. The title is Dragons & Cherry Blossoms. Hope to have it done by spring.
I would like to thank everyone who has read my books and commented on them. Writing has been a dream come true for me and to have such a good response to my stories makes all the hard work worthwhile. Again, thank you!!
Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday!!!
