New release -- KEEPING THE SCORE!
Keeping the Score is now out in the world and I’m so thrilled for you to have Ford and Andi’s story! I loved writing this book (confession: I got totally obsessed with babies!) and I hope you fall in love wiht Ford, Andi, and Matilda just like I did.
One thing I want to make you aware of is that there is some potentially distressing content in this book, so please have a look at the content warnings on my website if you’re concerned about that.

This is the first goalie story I’ve ever written! Goalies have a reputation of being…well, let’s say eccentric, and Ford is definitely that! But he’s also “coachable” - he and his teammates talk about that and it’s important because Ford is willing to learn and do better, and when he faces a huge test of that OFF the ice…he comes through and becomes a better man, a better father, a better hockey player.

They're keeping secrets and telling lies, but a little white wine never hurt anyone.
Allegra
It’s not every day that you inherit one-third of a winery. I should be on top of the world, floating on Cloud Wine, as they say. Instead, don’t you just know it? I’m about to make one of the biggest mistakes of my life. And that’s saying something. My family has always viewed me as something of a screw-up, not always fairly. But in this case? They’re not only dead right about me messing things up; they don’t even know the half of it. Yet.
Complicating my quest to redeem myself, earn my sisters’ respect, and help them turn our winery into a straight fire success, is my low-key relationship with Sheriff’s Deputy Clay Romero. Sure, there are risks involved in sleeping with the enemy, but ‘what’s meant to be will find a way,’ right? And whether Clay believes it or not, I know we’re fated. With a capital F.
Clay
We’re Capital F somethin’ all right; but I don’t think it’s fate. Ever since Legs (AKA Allegra Martinelli) blew back into town, I’ve been flirting with disaster. Literally. I doubt that woman’s ever met a rule that she didn’t want to at least bend. And, as luck would have it, it’s my job to try and stop her. I love my job, and I think I love her. But there’s not enough wine in Napa to convince me that I’ll be able to hang onto them both.
Legs keeps likening us to Romeo and Juliet. And as I keep trying to remind her; that kind of story tends not to end well. I’m sure there are exceptions, but are we gonna be one of them? I guess we’ll find out.

NEW RELEASE!
Gone with the WIne is out now!

Jansen
I’m trying to start over after a soul-crushing end to my hockey career and my marriage—so I buy a winery. I have no idea what I’m doing, but at least I have a reason to get out of bed in the morning. I hate asking for help, but when I meet the winemaker next door, I’m jacked to have an excuse to see her again. She’s gorgeous and full of life, with grape juice-stained hands, a sunburnt nose, and long legs in cut-off shorts. But Bianca’s not so eager to help a grumpy rich celebrity who thinks he can just buy a winery and become a winemaker.
Bianca
Holy crap, I’ve inherited part of the family winery. That should be a dream come true, but I left Napa to get away from my family baggage. I have no choice but to go home and help my sisters get through harvest season, but I’ll be making a quick exit back to my rising star wine career in Argentina. Meanwhile, our new neighbor is a tall, dark, and ripped temptation. He needs a winemaker, and I need a lab—so we make a business deal. But while we work together picking, crushing, and fermenting, the attraction between us is causing another chemical reaction. And with wine and with life, it’s not healthy to keep things bottled up…
This series has been so much fun to work on! My friends PG Forte and Kate Davies are both amazing, creative authors. Be sure to also read their books:

Where there's a wine there's a way…
Bianca
I left Napa Valley to forge my own winemaking path. But when I co-inherit my Nonna’s share of the legendary Martinelli-Lamberti vineyards, I intend to bring in the harvest, then fly right back to Argentina, where I’m more than just the invisible middle child of a runaway mother.
Until I encounter Jansen Beck, a handsome newcomer to Napa who lights me up like a good malbec. A retired hockey star who just bought an old, established neighboring winery.
Jansen
My sum total of winemaking knowledge would fit under a hockey puck. But partnering with Bianca will be a win-win—my state-of-the-art lab combined with her knowledge will bring the sexy brunette into my orbit more often—and maybe convince her I can be a success, even without skates and a stick.
Trouble is, I’ve got baggage. And she’s itching to pack hers and blow this cabernet stand. While we work together picking, crushing, and fermenting, the attraction between us is causing another chemical reaction. And with wine and with life, it’s not healthy to keep things bottled up…

Rule #1 Do not cross the line with best friend’s sister
Ben
On the ice I’m formidable, relentless and I lead by example. Now my coach wants me to step up as Captain – and lead the team off the ice too. But this is my worst nightmare; I’d rather play hockey naked than do any kind of public speaking! To make matters worse, my best friend’s sister has shown up out of the blue to live with us temporarily. We have a history… it’s awkward, she’s starting to invade my fantasies and I can’t seem to escape her. But maybe she could be the answer to my problems…
Mabel
Moving in with my brother was not part of my life plan, but I have no choice at the moment. I need to get away and start my life over. I just wish I didn’t have to share the condo with Ben. I thought I’d buried my teenage crush, but seeing him all the time has me fascinated with him all over again! But now he’s asking for my help to be more outgoing and confident, and basically fake it until he makes it. Sure I can help, but that would mean a lot of time alone. I need to stay strong and resist the obvious temptation...

Scotland and Ireland trip
Well I’m home from RARE Edinburgh 2024! What an adventure this trip was! My sister accompanied me as my assistant for the signing, and we took a little extra jaunt over to Ireland to explore our Irish heritage. We both felt we connected with our Irish roots and we learned a lot about Ireland, the people, their history.

First, the signing! It was amazing, as usual, and I loved meeting everyone who came by my table! Hearing from readers is the best part of this job and I was really touched by some of the conversations. it was a whirlwind day but so much fun. It was also so great to connect with author friends I don’t get to see very often, especially old friends I haven’t seen for a long time! We ended up closing down the meet and greet party we were having so much fun!

Waiting to see everyone!

With Elise Faber, Kate Meader, and Kat Mizera
With Becca Jameson and Lorelei James

We explored Edinburgh, our first time there, and it was gorgeous. The city has a castle on a hill right in the middle of it! I love old architecture and every corner we turned was another beautiful vista. We also went for a lovely afternoon tea and of course checked out a few pubs.

We also took a tour across the country to Inverness, Loch Ness, (sadly we did not spy Nessie despite keeping a close eye out) and Urquhart Castle, which dates back to AD580. It is crumbling but so beautiful.

Then it was on to Ireland! More beauty! We took several guided tours and the guides were all such great storytellers. We learned so much about the history of the country. We did a walking tour of Dublin, a tour of the Jameson distillery and the Guinness brewery — both so much more than I expected! Very polished and interesting! We also drove across Ireland to the Cliffs of Moher—stunning! We visited Galway and drove along the Wild Atlantic Way. So much more amazing old architecture, beautiful parks, cute pubs…I took so many pictures! These are just a few.

I’m full of story ideas and my creative well is brimming! So much beauty, laughter, and learning.
