The other day I saw what looked like an interesting piece being Tweeted by the New York Times. But when I clicked the link and was led to the NYT, I was told that my monthly views had expired and if I wanted to see more I would have to pay. Guess what I did?
I closed the window and I'm not clicking on any NYT articles in the future. I can get the same information, if not better information, for free in other places. I don't love ads and pop ups, but I don't hate the...

I saw this trending on Twitter and I'm always amazed at the people who think this is just about "acting." We weren't allowed to legally marry until a few years ago. We were placed in mental institutions when there was nothing wrong with us. We were imprisoned for being gay, and in some parts of the world that's still happening. But yet they don't give us the respect or the credit for being a marginalized group that had to fight for every equal...

I never totally believe the results of these things. I think there's a lot of room for doubt here.
A study by researchers at Indiana University found that straight people are less attracted to trans people — regardless of how good looking that person is.
Social Psychological and Personality Science. The purpose of the study was to find evidence of transphobia on dating apps.

Bornstein is a trans performer who is part of the Straight White Men cast.
In a Facebook post, Bornstein wrote: “It’s true what people are saying: a woman, in response to my opening line of the show, ‘Good evening, ladies, gentlemen, and the rest of us’ called out from the audience ‘You’re not welcome here’.”
It goes on to talk about how Bornstein responded to the heckler.
