On this day in 1832, John C. Calhoun became the first vice president of the United States to resign, stepping down over differences with President Jackson. In specific leadership scenarios, if one’s influence is no longer able to affect change then it takes wisdom and vision to know when it’s time for seasons of work and life to end thereby allowing new seasons to begin.
As leaders, let’s all learn when to move forward for betterment of yourself and others.
