SELF-DISCIPLINE
SELF-DISCIPLINE:
A decision and resolve to control your own actions, behavior, opinions, emotions, body, environment, and everything that influences you, toward accomplishing an objective that you choose.
Your decision must be renewed in every moment of every hour. The control required is a relentless pursuit of perfection, as well as brutal and unyielding concentration — regardless of any barrier or opponent.
The ability to decide, control, concentrate and persist is your assurance of success.

TEACH YOUR KID TO COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES
THE FAULT OF BIRTH
Thomas Edward Lawrence (16 August 1888 – 19 May 1935) was an archaeologist and British Army officer renowned especially for his liaison role during the Sinai and Palestine Campaign, and the Arab Revolt against Ottoman Turkish rule of 1916–18. The breadth and variety of his activities and associations, and his ability to describe them vividly in writing, earned him international fame as Lawrence of Arabia, a title which was later used for the 1962 film based on his First World War activities.
Lawrence was born out of wedlock in Tremadog, Wales, in August 1888 to Sir Thomas Chapman and Sarah Junner, a governess who was herself illegitimate. Chapman had left his wife and first family in Ireland to live with Junner, and they called themselves Mr and Mrs Lawrence. In the summer of 1896 the Lawrences moved to Oxford, where in 1907–10 young Lawrence studied History and graduated with First Class Honors.
He became a practicing archaeologist in the Middle East, working at various excavations with David George Hogarth and Leonard Woolley. In 1908, he joined the Oxford University Officers’ Training Corps and underwent a two-year training course. In January 1914, before the outbreak of the Great War, Lawrence was commissioned by the British Army to undertake a military survey of the Negev Desert while doing archaeological research.
Lawrence’s public image resulted in part from the sensationalized reportage of the Arab revolt by an American journalist, Lowell Thomas, as well as from Lawrence’s autobiographical account Seven Pillars of Wisdom (1922). In 1935, Lawrence was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident. Lawrence was portrayed by Peter O’Toole in the 1962 film Lawrence of Arabia.

ALL IS MIND
This principle embodies the truth that “All is Mind.” It explains that THE ALL (which is the Substantial Reality underlying all the outward manifestations and appearances which we know under the terms of “The Material Universe”; the ”Phenomena of Life”; “Matter”; ”Energy”; and, in short, all that is apparent to our material senses) is SPIRIT, which in itself is UNKNOWABLE and UNDEFINABLE, but which may be considered and thought of as AN UNIVERSAL, INFINITE, LIVING MIND. It also explains that all the phenomenal world or universe is simply a Mental Creation of THE ALL, subject to the Laws of Created Things, and that the universe, as a whole, and in its parts or units, has its existence in the Mind of THE ALL, in which Mind we “live and move and have our being.” This Principle, by establishing the Mental Nature of the Universe, easily explains all of the varied mental and psychic phenomena that occupy such a large portion of the public attention, and which, without such explanation, are non-understandable and defy scientific treatment.“

ENDURING ETERNITY: COMFORTABLY NUMB
As Immortal Spiritual Beings our problem is how to endure eternity: All- Knowing, All Seeing, All-Creating. How do we avoid the Eternal Pain of Knowing before the outcome of the events that we cause? This is Boredom. — the Deadliest Disease of Immorality. The end of every game is predetermined –the Affliction of The Gods. Pretend that we do NOT know? The elixir for our self-crated affliction is a lie. We know that we know. We pretend we do not. Ignorance is bliss. Pretense is the numbing drug. Lie to yourself. The pain of Eternal Boredom will desist, if you persist…. persist….. persist….. Be numb to it. Be numb. Lie to yourself. Do not know what you know…..
These are the lyrics to the song by Pink Floyd, “Comfortably Numb“:
“Hello,
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me
Is there anyone home?
Come on
Now
I hear you’re feeling down
I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again
Relax
I’ll need some information first
Just the basic facts
Can you show me where it hurts?
There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship’s smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move
But I can’t hear what you’re saying
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like
Two balloons
Now I’ve got that feeling once again
I can’t explain
You would not understand
This is not how I am
I… Have become comfortably numb
O.K.
Just a little pin prick
There’ll be no more aaaaaaaah!
But you may feel a little sick
Can you stand up?
I do believe it’s working
Good
That’ll keep you going through the show
Come on
It’s time to go
There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship’s smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move
But I can’t hear what you’re saying
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown
The dream is gone
I… Have become comfortably numb

ANAGRAMS

Anagram (AN-uh-gram) noun: A word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of another word or phrase. verb: To rearrange letters in such a way. To anagrammatize. [From Greek anagrammatismos, ana- (up, again, back, new) + -gram (letter).
Examples of Anagrams:
Sherlock Homes = Crooks Hell Mesh
Dormitory = Dirty Room
Dictionary = Indicatory
Schoolmaster = The classroom
Elvis = Lives
Listen = Silent
Clint Eastwood = Old West Action
Mother-in-law = Woman Hitler
President Barack Hussein Obama: a maniac presides. the banks rob u
William Shakespeare: I’ll make a wise phrase
Jay Leno: Enjoy L.A.
Gene Simmons: Immense Song
Motley Crue: Me Cruel Toy
The Morse Code = Here Come Dots
The eyes = They see
Barbie doll = Liberal bod
Here are some practical uses of anagrams:
Informal encryption Replace each word (or line) of your document with its anagram. Of course, it doesn’t give you military-grade encryption but for most informal applications, anagrams are serviceable.
Also Newton supposedly used an anagram in describing calculus in a letter to Leibniz. See this and the book A Passion for Mathematics: Numbers, Puzzles, Madness, Religion, and the Quest for Reality (page 30).
Generating passwords It’s a good idea to have a separate password for each email account, online account, etc. What’s difficult is having to remember all those passwords. Try using various anagrams of your favorite word or phrase as passwords.
Generating mnemonics
Divination Not sure of the best course of action? Whether to major in computer science or in philosophy at college… whether to start a comics store or a pet-sitting business? Let anagrams serve as your oracle. For example, if your name is Joe Smith, try anagramming “Joe Smith philosophy” and “Joe Smith computer science”, and see what anagrams divine for you. Try these tips for finding great anagrams.
Securely recording secret numbers (by Brian Thompson) Never keep a copy of your pin number, membership number, online banking pass number … So we are advised. I find it impossible to remember strings of numbers, but like most people, I find that a memorable phrase is easily recalled. Your number is tied to a phrase (Subject) which is anagrammed. The resulting permutation of the number string may then be written down with the Subject. You need only remember the anagram!

SAGES IN A SAVAGE SOCIETY
Here are photographs of each man which have recently been “colorized” from the black and white original pictures, by the photographer Dana Keller. Her colorization brings these men “to life”, and reminds me that they are still alive through the poetic wisdom of Whitman, the world changing inventions of Tesla, and a wealth of words in the books of Twain.
These are three of the GREATEST men on modern civilization. Each of them were”sages”. (Definition: “SAGE” = The sage does not love or seek wisdom, because he already has wisdom. According to Plato, there are two categories of beings who do not do philosophy: 1) Gods and sages, because they are wise 2) senseless people, because they think they are wise.
These men lived, as we continue to do, in a Savage Society. We are “savage” in the sense that we worship or condone murder (war), greed, and violence toward each other and every life form on Earth. Warfare is nearly continuous during the entire history of humanity. Within 50 years 1/2 of all species of life form on Earth will have come extinct. In western society the wealthy, the monarchs, the corrupt politicians, the military, the criminal bankers, the strong athlete, the Super Hero, etc., are revered as though they were “gods”. They are conceived by the majority to be “the good guys” in our “civilized” society.
In contrast, the following three men (Walt Whitman, Nikola Tesla and Mark Twain) possessed the wisdom of a sage, the revolutionary genius of inventive imagination and ability, and gentle courage and personal integrity that are nearly beyond comprehension in the Age of Twitter and Monday Night Football.
THE GREATEST AMERICAN POET
Walter “Walt” Whitman (May 31, 1819 – March 26, 1892)
“This is what you shall do: Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown or to any man or number of men, go freely with powerful uneducated persons and with the young and with the mothers of families, read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body. . . . The poet shall not spend his time in unneeded work. He shall know that the ground is always ready ploughed and manured . . . . others may not know it but he shall. He shall go directly to the creation. His trust shall master the trust of everything he touches . . . . and shall master all attachment.”
THE GREATEST INVENTOR IN THE HISTORY OF EARTH
Nikola Tesla (10 July 1856 – 7 January 1943)
“Like a wave in the physical world, in the infinite ocean of the medium which pervades all, so in the world of organisms, in life, an impulse started proceeds onward, at times, may be, with the speed of light, at times, again, so slowly that for ages and ages it seems to stay, passing through processes of a complexity inconceivable to men, but in all its forms, in all its stages, its energy ever and ever integrally present. A single ray of light from a distant star falling upon the eye of a tyrant in bygone times may have altered the course of his life, may have changed the destiny of nations, may have transformed the surface of the globe, so intricate, so inconceivably complex are the processes in Nature.”
THE GREATEST AMERICAN WRITER
Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910), who was a personal friend of Nikola Tesla.
“We are strangely made. We think we are wonderful creatures. Part of the time we think that, at any rate. And during that interval we consider with pride our mental equipment, with its penetration, its power of analysis, its ability to reason out clear conclusions from confused facts, and all the lordly rest of it; and then comes a rational interval and disenchants us. Disenchants us and lays us bare to ourselves, and we see that intellectually we are no great things; that we seldom really know the things we think we know; that our best-built certainties are but sand-houses and subject to damage from any wind of doubt that blows.”
“Man seems to be a rickety poor sort of a thing, any way you take him; a kind of British Museum of infirmities and inferiorities. He is always undergoing repairs. A machine that was as unreliable as he is would have no market.”
“Man is the only animal that deals in that atrocity of atrocities, War. He is the only one that gathers his brethren about him and goes forth in cold blood and calm pulse to exterminate his kind. He is the only animal that for sordid wages will march out, as the Hessians did in our Revolution, and as the boyish Prince Napoleon did in the Zulu war, and help to slaughter strangers of his own species who have done him no harm and with whom he has no quarrel.”

SPIRIT TWINS
As the Martian being, Valentine Michael Smith, says repeatedly in the classic science fiction story, “Strangers In A Strange Land“, by Robert Heinlein: Thou art god, I am god. All that groks is god“.
Theoretically, every individual person is a “god”. A god is simply an Immortal Spiritual Being capable of creating something from nothing, conjured solely as an illusion of the imagination. Everyone creates something from nothing continually, every day. Every time you have an original idea, you are performing the action of a “god”. It can be demonstrated that all of us “gods”, collectively, create and maintain, through our agreement, the co-created illusion we call the Physical Universe.
The intentional creation the a universe is eloquently summarized by Robert Heinlein, “The Universe was a damned silly place at best . . . but the least likely explanation for its existence was the no-explanation of random chance, the conceit that some abstract somethings “just happened” to be some atoms that “just happened” to get together in configurations which “just happened” to look like consistent laws and then some of these configurations “just happened” to possess self-awareness…”.
There have been many descriptions of the very unique relationship between Immortal Spiritual Beings who are the co-creators or “god-partners” of universes they have co-created and inhabited before the existence of the physical universe. These can be one, two, several or many spiritual beings. Such beings share the same origin point that existed before the space and time of this physical universe. Spirit Twins, Twin Flames, Soul Mates and many other phrases have been used to attempt to describe this marvelous relationship which transcends time and space in this, or any universe.
The quality of these relationships is that the Beings involved are virtually the same Being, and yet individual. However, the universes they co-created through a cooperative conjuring of illusions, inhabited and maintained together still exists in the memories of those who shared in their co-creation. There can be a nearly infinite number of such universes, just as there are an unlimited number of Immortal Spiritual Beings coexisting, yet separated, by the artificial barriers of time, space, objects, energy that comprise the delusion we share, called the Physical Universe.
Love is composed of complete understanding — that is, the willingness and ability to BE another Being or Beings. There is no “separateness” between them. There is only a “Oneness of Self”. It can be expressed in the idea that “I am You, as You are Me: We Are”. Spirit Twins, sharing the co-creation of a mutual universe, seem to share a complete understanding of each other, as the “other” is “self”.
The physical universe, which has overwhelmed and absorbed the native universes of Spirit Twins, is composed of particles in space which are held suspended by a negative and positive energy. On Earth we often inhabit physical bodies made of flesh, which are positive / negative: male / female. When Spirit Twins encounter each other on Earth the overwhelming emotion of being reunited with a “god-partner” or “universe co-creator” can be an indescribably intense experience. The relationship, experiences and emotions shared by such Beings are those of a Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Lover, Cousin, Soul Mate and Creator — ALL IN ONE— being reunited with each other after having been lost or separated for decades or eons!
Given that Immortal Spiritual Beings have lived in and around the physical universe for a nearly infinite number of years, it is very likely that Spirit Twins have encountered each other on planets and in spaces many, many times before. These encounters ofter result in marriages, love affairs, family relationships, and passionate friendships of every possible variety. If you are fortunate enough to meet one or more of your “Spirit Twins” in this, or any lifetime on Earth or in the “hereafter”, I share your Joy, as I have recently been fortunate enough to enjoy such a reunion personally. The experience of unconditional love and understanding between two or more Spiritual Beings or gods is as marvelous as the wonders of a co-created universe!
