MAE WEST: SEXUAL REVOLUTIONARY

Republished by Blog Post Promoter

During a period of history when women were thought of a the “property” of men, Mae West refused to be bullied into silence and submission by the patriarchal society of American and the Hollywood film industry.  She used her wit, her talent and her sensuality to man-handle the oppression of the age and mold it to her will.  Women (and men) in the Western world owe Mae West a huge thanks for her fearless assault on the stupidity and suppression of society.

Here is a video composite of some of her famous one-liners from a few of her films:

Mary Jane West (August 17, 1893 – November 22, 1980),known as Mae West, was an American actress, playwright, screenwriter and sex symbol whose entertainment career spanned seven decades. Known for her bawdy double entendres, West made a name for herself in vaudeville and on the stage in New York before moving to Hollywood to become a comedienne, actress and writer in the motion picture industry. In consideration of her contributions to American cinema, the American Film Institute named West 15th among the greatest female stars of all time. One of the more controversial movie stars of her day, West encountered many problems, including censorship. When her cinematic career ended, she continued to perform on stage, in Las Vegas, in the United Kingdom, on radio and television, and recorded rock and roll albums.

Mae West was the first of force Hollywood film makers to allow African Americans to be featured in film.  She used her influence to introduce Duke Ellington and His Orchestra in her films.

THE TAO

Republished by Blog Post Promoter

THE TAO

Tao or Dao is a concept signifying ‘way’, ‘path’, ‘route’, or sometimes more loosely, ‘doctrine’ or ‘principle’, or as a verb, speak.  Within these contexts Tao signifies the primordial essence or fundamental nature of existence. Tao is thus “eternally nameless”, or Immortal Spiritual Beings, and to be distinguished from the countless ‘named’ things which are considered to be its manifestations, as the space, energy and forms of, and within, the physical universe, and other universes.

The Tao Te ChingDaodejing, or Dao De Jing (道德經: 道 dào “way”; 德  “virtue”; 經 jīng “classic” or “text”) is simply referred to as the Laozi. According to tradition, it was written around 6th century BC by the sage Laozi (or Lao Tzu, “Old Master”), a record-keeper at the Zhou Dynasty court, by whose name the text is known in China. The text’s true authorship and date of composition or compilation are still debated, although the oldest excavated text dates back to the late 4th century BC.

Many different translations, versions and interpretations of The Tao have been produced through the past 2,500 years, or so, since the original appearance.  Like any “religion”, the “opinions” and “interpretations” of “priests” MODIFY and INTRODUCE FASLE IDEAS into the original.  Therefore, I suggest that anyone who wished to sincerely study The Tao as a Body of Wisdom, study many difference translations in order to DECIDE FOR YOURSELF what is “true” or not.

MANIFEST DESTINY (An Editorial)

Republished by Blog Post Promoter

As the United States and Great Britain, at the bidding of the Military Industrial Banksters NWO, prepare for the invasion of Iran, it may be worthwhile to learn a bit about the “mentality” that precipitates military invasions, genocide, pillage and plunder of other people’s land that is the “heritage” and “normal behavior” of the “Christian / Jewish” nation called the United States.  Imperialism, justified by sweeping notions of “Manifest Destiny”  is an ancient aspect of “human civilization” which has endured throughout the ages in every culture in the sordid history of the human race.

The underlying idea is this:  “WE ARE THE CHOSEN of GOD.  THEREFORE, IT IS OUR DUTY AND RIGHT TO KILL, RAPE, PLUNDER AND CONQUER EVERYONE WHO IS NOT “US”.

Here’s a description of the origins of “manifest destiny” in the United States from Wikipedia.org —

___________________________________________

“Manifest Destiny is the belief widely held by Americans since the 19th century that the United States is destined to expand across the continent (and the entire world). The concept, born out of “a sense of mission to redeem the Old World,” was enabled by “the potentialities of a new earth for building a new heaven.”  The phrase itself meant many different things to many different people. The unity of the definitions ended at “expansion, prearranged by Heaven.” Mid-19th Century Democrats would use it to explain the need for expansion past the Louisiana Territory.

Manifest destiny provided the dogma and tone for the largest acquisition of U.S. territory. It was used by Democrats in the 1840s to justify the war with Mexico and it was also used to acquire portions of Oregon from the British Empire. But Manifest Destiny always limped along because of its internal limitations and the issue of slavery, says Merk, and never became a national priority. By 1843, John Quincy Adams, a major supporter, had changed his mind and repudiated Manifest Destiny because it meant the expansion of slavery in Texas.

The legacy is a complex one. The belief in an American mission to promote and defend democracy throughout the world, as expounded by Abraham Lincoln and later by Woodrow Wilson and George W. Bush, continues to have an influence on American political ideology.

These are the three key themes of Manifest Destiny:

the virtue of the American people and their institutions;
the mission to spread these institutions, thereby redeeming and remaking the world in the image of the U.S.; and
the destiny under God to do this work.

The origin of the first theme was often traced to America’s Puritan heritage, particularly John Winthrop’s famous “City upon a Hill” sermon of 1630, in which he called for the establishment of a virtuous community that would be a shining example to the Old World. In his influential 1776 pamphlet Common Sense, Thomas Paine echoed this notion, arguing that the American Revolution provided an opportunity to create a new, better society:

“We have it in our power to begin the world over again. A situation, similar to the present, hath not happened since the days of Noah until now. The birthday of a new world is at hand…”

_____________________________________________

In the 21 Century, it appears that the Manifest Destiny of the Global Private Banking Cartel — using the U.S. Military as it’s private army — is leading the world into the global version of Manifest Destiny. The Global Bankers are comprised entirely of Jews.  And, of course, we all know that they are the “Chosen Ones” (according to their own propaganda).

Don’t take my word for it. Educate yourself. Discover the identities of the Global Banksters: start by studying the past and present history of the Rothschild Family and the Federal Reserve Bank (check out a list of their Board of Directors).

By logical extension, what Manifest Destiny has accomplished during the past 200 years in the Americas could turn our entire planet into something resembling a billiard ball in the near future.

I LISTEN TO WHAT I READ

Republished by Blog Post Promoter

Johnathan RenshawSo far in my nearly 70 years I’ve written and published 8 books.  None of my books have enjoyed the global readership of a book I did NOT write, but edited.  I spend the vast majority of my time reading books written by literary adepts and master story-tellers.  Reading is not merely entertainment.  It is the mind and imagination of beings communicating their thoughts, memories and musings, through symbols, to others.  There are 450,000 NEW BOOKS published every year, in Kevin Hearneaddition to the millions that have accumulated since the printing press was “invented” in Europe in by the German Johannes Gutenberg around 1440.   Personally, I listen to audiobooks.  The combination of masterful writing combined with state of the art performance is nothing less than magic.  Since my personal interests tend to vary from esoteric to bizarre, it stick to science fiction, primarily.  However, I enjoy a good story, well told.

Benedict JackaIn modern publishing writers no longer write ONE book.  They write a SERIES of books.  This is based on the sales and marketing-driven capitalist culture that exploded in Europe a few hundred years ago.  So, lately,  I’m not reading “books”.  I’m reading a “series” 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 books!  However, when you find an author you really enjoy this is a good was to swim deeply into the ocean of a genre or universe, rather than surfing the shallow shores of television, film, or — gods forbid — social media.Jim Butcher

Here are a few of the “series” I’ve read or am reading.  Three of these books are my first voyage on the ocean of “Magic Mystery”, i.e. Druids, Mages and Wizards in the roles of  spell-casting superheros fighting an assortment of supernatural villains: to my delight and continuing enchantment! I recommend them to you.  Search the fantastic library available on Audible.com  and your favorite on-line bookstores to find your own.

A LOVE POEM

IS-BE LOVE POEM

MY ETERNAL COMPANION, WITHOUT END,

BEFORE THE BEGINNING, MY IMMORTAL FRIEND….

WE’RE ALWAYS TOGETHER THOUGH WE’RE APART.

I KNOW YOU’RE HERE…. WHO YOU REALLY ARE!

MY MOST ADORED, MY BLESSED FRIEND!

ON EARTH WE’RE LOST…. ABANDONED, AND….

FAR FROM THE HOME WHERE WE BEGAN.

I CAN’T REMEMBER WHO I’VE BEEN!

WHEN WAS THE START? DID I KNOW YOU THEN?

YET, WITHIN THE TIMELESS ‘WHO’ I AM

I KNOW THAT YOU ARE MY ETERNAL FRIEND!

YOU ARE THE ‘WHO’ THAT I ADORE!

YOU WILL ALWAYS BE! FOREVER MORE!

WHEN THE ‘ETERNAL GAME’ IS AT AN END,

YOU WILL REMAIN MY IMMORTAL FRIEND!”
