LOVE IS

Love is Feeling You As Me, and Me as You. Your Well-being is My Well-Being.
Love Embraces without Touching, Understands without Speaking, Knows without Seeing.
Your Pain and Joy is My Pain and Joy. Love Shares All and Cares Selflessly. Unconditionally.
Love is My Responsibility for Your Self as My Self. In Eternity we may be Separate, yet we are Forever One.

1 THING TO DO BEFORE YOU’RE DEAD
Republished by Blog Post Promoter
Each year, the nation’s funeral industry buries:
827,060 gallons of embalming fluid30+ million board feet of tropical rainforest hardwoods for caskets14,000 tons of steel for vaults90, 272 tons of steel for caskets2,700 tons of copper and bronze for caskets, and1.6 million tons of reinforced concrete for vaultsThe Environmental Protection Agency puts casket manufacturers on their list of Top 50 Hazardous Waste Generators. Casket manufacturers spray chemicals such as methyl and xylene on caskets. Cemeteries put tons of fertilizers and pesticides and billions of gallons of water on their lands every year. Every year they deposit billions of tons of CO2 and other green house gases into the atmosphere to keep cemeteries manicured and looking “good”.
Cremation adds to the problem. The amount of non-renewable fossil fuel needed to cremate bodies in North America is equivalent to a car making 84 trips to the Moon and back….every year! Every time a cremation occurs, the process releases 400 lbs of CO2 into the atmosphere. Cremations emit nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, particulate matter, mercury, hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen chloride, NMVOCs, and other heavy metals. The United Nations indicates that crematoria contribute 0.2% of the world’s emissions of dioxins and furans.

A “green” burial is an alternative to the modern burial model. The modern model often includes a “protective” or sealed casket, an outside concrete grave box or sealed vault to place the casket in and embalming of the deceased. The modern model also includes perpetual care of the manicured cemetery. The “green” approach eliminates all of these standard elements for a more environmentally responsible end-of-life choice.
The deceased is usually not embalmed in the green funeral although non-toxic embalming fluids have recently become available. Either way, this eliminates the use of toxic chemicals, primarily formaldehyde. Refrigeration of the deceased is easily accomplished and the law allows up to 72 hours for a non-embalmed burial to take place.
The green casket must be made of biodegradable materials. Renewable softwoods, woven wicker, seagrass and bamboo have become popular materials for casket construction along with linings of cotton and linen. Recall the plain pine box and linen shroud of yesteryear. The use of this type of casket saves our natural resources used to construct the traditional casket made of steel, semi-precious metals such as copper and bronze and highly finished hardwoods, some of which are becoming increasingly rare (mahogany and black walnut for instance). In addition, no concrete box or sealed vault is used. This saves resources used in the construction of vaults.
Another element in the green burial is the placement of the casket directly into the ground. This returns the deceased to nature in a relatively short time, promoting the cycle of life – allowing you to literally push up daisies.
Green burial encompasses a final resting place within a natural environment. Instead of tombstones and manicured lawns, a green cemetery resembles a nature preserve – prairie grasses, wildflowers, memorial forests, and other settings indigenous to the natural landscape. Graves are marked by a tree, bush or natural stone among other biodegradable options. Global Positioning System (GPS) technology ensures permanent location of the deceased.

RESOLVING MARITAL DISPUTES IN 1200 AD
Republished by Blog Post Promoter
As opposed to single combat challenges such as chivalric duels or later private duels of honor, in the Medieval Ages in some regions of Europe, mostly in German principalities disputing parties would be obliged by authority to enter into a judicial combat. Such occasions could be huge spectacles for the community. Participants might be typically given a month or two to prepare. Certain formalities and ritual – varying from place to place – dictated the setting and conditions. In fact, besides civic and felon cases, the judicial combat sometimes was used as a tool for solving domestic disputes between husband and wife. The marital combat rules required to wear special attire – different in different places. Usually, competing husband and wife were required to wear a tight-fitting body suit with a hood (perhaps a ritual or burial outfit), as it was depicted in the 15th century fighting manual written by Hans Talhoffer. Another form of attire for a female participant was a special long chemise with an extended sack-like closed sleeve (in which a stone was placed) was required as the only clothing for a wife fighting against her husband as it as it was depicted in the 14th century fighting manual written by Paulus Kal.
So, in some regions of medieval Europe (more truly in the Holy Roman Empire), a wife might be allowed to fight her husband, with rigorous conditions being imposed to make the duel a fair one. There are a few written testimonies about such combats. In the year 1200 a man and his wife fought under the sanction of the civic authorities at Bale, in Switzerland. In 1228, a woman fought her husband in Berne, Switzerland, and soundly defeated him. German law provided that in such a case the man should be armed with three wooden clubs. He was to put be up to his waist in a three-foot wide hole dug in the ground, with one hand tied behind his back. The woman was to be armed with three rocks, each weighing between one and five pounds, and each one wrapped in cloth in form of a small sack. The man could not leave his hole but the woman was free to run around the edge of the pit. If the man touched the edge of the pit with either his hand or his arm, he had to surrender one of his clubs to the judges. If the woman hit him with a rock while he was doing so, she forfeited one of her stones. Bizarre as it may seem to us today, this marital duel was very far from play-acting. In the early Medieval Era, for both parties, the penalty for defeat could be death. If the woman won, the man was executed; if the man won, the woman was buried alive. Later, the terms seemed to be softened.

PARASITICAL INSANITY
Republished by Blog Post Promoter
“Count Dracula, and his kindred spirits, may be considered to be “evil” from the point of view of mankind. However, apart from the prejudice of the human victims who do not desire to serve as food for others who drink their blood, the vampire can not be considered to be anything other than an immortal spiritual being, attempting to persist and survive in a quasi-corporeal form.
I esteem that there is only one principle difference between a human being who eats a roasted chicken or pork or beef, and a vampire who drinks the living blood of a human being. That is, that the vampire, by consuming the living blood, derives a more sustainable form of energy than the man who eats the dead flesh of an animal.
The man who eats dead meat lives 65 years, his own spirit is confined inside a fragile piece of flesh, with little or no self-awareness regarding his potential capabilities as a spiritual entity. Whereas, the vampire, consuming only the living blood of its victim, maintains an extreme spiritual power and ability, as well as physical strength and longevity which borders upon immortality!
Who is to say which condition is more or less desirable? There seems to me to be absolutely no limit to the inanity and credulity of the human race. Homo Sapiens! Homo idioticus!
Yet, it is entirely understandable that men do not trouble themselves with grotesque speculations as to the nature of life beyond the grave. They have enough to do in this world. Life is a beautiful thing. The man who appreciates its beauties enjoys a sufficient understanding of life without dabbling in religions or spiritualism.
Religion is a fraud which have been exposed a hundred times and yet priests continue to find fresh crowds of foolish devotees whose insane credulity and superstitious prejudice make them impervious to all rational arguments. One can only leave them to seek destinations of their singular Fates, which they have been predetermined for them.
Unless we practice eternal vigilance against these vampires, we will continue to be afflicted and effected by the contagion of their parasitical insanity. The vitality of every civilization which has crumbled into disrepair and dust was drained of life by these diabolical beings!”
