LAND OF THE DEAD
Republished by Blog Post Promoter
In the fanciful world of the Pirates of The Caribbean films, the living and the dead sail the same seas together — one above, one below. The dead share the same thirst, hunger and lust as the living, but cannot slake them unless they inhabit a body. Yet, how much different are the adventures of the living and dead? Those beings with bodies are called the “living”. Yet, are not those without bodies also alive in eternity as spiritual beings? Physical sensation is pale, fragile and temporary and nearly always far less satisfying than imagined in the mind! Inevitably every “living” person will sail The Sea of Life to the same destination: The Land of The Dead. Who accept the “living” claim that “gettin’ back” is the problem?
It’s easy to die. Everyone does it inevitably. But, how easy is it to “live” in a body? The real problem for a spiritual being is Living in The Land of The Dead eternally. And, perhaps, it may be wise to avoid “gettin’ back” all together to save repeating the same folly that caused the pain, sorry and disappointments we suffered because we were encumbered by a body!

15 of the Deadliest U.S. Corporations
Republished by Blog Post Promoter
What’s faster than a speeding bullet? What’s mightier than a locomotive? It is a bomb? Is it the Black Plague? No, Billy, it’s an American Corporation!
Big Pharma gets rich when you get sick. Pfizer, the largest pharmaceutical corporation in the U.S., pleaded guilty in 2009 to the largest health care fraud in U.S. history, receiving the largest criminal penalty ever for illegally marketing four of its drugs. It was Pfizer’s fourth such case. As if Pfizer’s massive use of animal experimentation wasn’t heart wrenching enough, Pfizer decided to use Nigerian children as guinea pigs. In 1996, Pfizer traveled to Kano, Nigeria to try out an experimental antibiotic on third-world diseases such as measles, cholera, and bacterial meningitis. They gave trovafloxacin to approximately 200 children. Dozens of them died in the experiment, while many others developed mental and physical deformities. According to the EPA, Pfizer can also proudly claim to be among the top ten companies in America causing the most air pollution.

55:38 — CLAIRVOYANT DISEASE (Lyrics)
Dust begins to fall, to the ground
The air is cold and thin
Thoughts are haunting me as I look around
This will never end and I’ll bleed forever
(Refrain)
Don’t acknowledge right, just dwell on wrong
This spot in hell’s where I belong
I’ve come so far – it’s been so long
Don’t know why it started or where it came from
Outside shell is strong – confident
But slowly eats away
Like a man plagued with disease, I try to fight
Through my pores it seems to seep…
I’ll bleed forever
And you sit there and do nothing
You’re content with doing nothing
There’s nowhere to run and hide
when you’re living to die
Stuck alone inside your head,
better off dead
The phone would ring in the empty house,
no one’s around.
But in my life, I wanted more, I needed more
I taste more
1:00:35 — ALL THINGS WILL END (Lyrics)
Lived through you,
safe with how we lived our lives,
with how it all turned out.
(But things are bound to change)
Uncovered lies, surfaced throughout,
will make you change your mind
Sometimes life is altered
Won’t turn out right. Can’t turn out right
When I see you, I can read it in your eyes,
fate misunderstood.
(But things are bound to change)
Swallowed the lies, can’t blame you for,
thinking with your heart.
Sometimes life is altered.
Break from the ropes your hands are tied.
Uneasy with confrontation.
Won’t turn out right. Can’t turn out right
I see my world crumble and fall, before my eyes
I know, I know.
Dark will turn to light, in time I’ll be alright
I know, I know
(I never imagined my life could turn out this way
So cold so black so alone)
Living goes by fast, catch your breath
and it will pass you by.
And it won’t last, to sulk with the memories you hold.
Sometimes life is altered.
Break from the ropes your hands are tied.
Uneasy with confrontation.
Won’t turn out right. Can’t turn out right.
LENSMAN
Republished by Blog Post Promoter
“The Lens is a lenticular structure of hundreds of thousands of tiny crystalloids, built and tuned to match the individual life force—the ego, the personality— of one individual entity. While not, strictly speaking, alive, it is endowed with a sort of pseudo-life by virtue of which it gives off a strong, characteristically-changing, polychromatic light as long as it is in circuit with the living mentality with which it is in synchronization. Conversely, when worn by anyone except its owner, it not only remains dark, but it kills; so strongly does its pseudo-life interfere with any life to which it is not attuned. It is also a telepathic communicator of astounding power and range—and other things.”
— E.E “Doc” Smith, from The Lensman Series
Personally, I think the Lensman Series written by E.E. “Doc” Smith during the 1930s and 1940s is the preeminent series of science fiction books ever published. These books were the genesis of what became knows as “space opera”. His books describe fictional events that occurred billions of years ago, and were the inspiration for Star Wars and a lot of science fiction that attempted to emulate his groundbreaking ideas. (“a long time ago, in a galaxy far away…”). The heroes and villains of his stories have “supernatural” spiritual powers and abilities which we attribute to “super-heroes” in modern literature. Doc Smith originated the concept of super-light-speeds, intergalactic travel, hyper-spacial tubes, vortexes of force, alien planets, intelligent anaerobic life forms, and “technobabble” — that is based more in fact than fantasy. The Lens, created by the progenitors of Humanity and Civilization (a race of disembodied entities know as the Arisians) purveyed the ability of telepathic communication and mental powers with the force to penetrate matter, kill, and conquer the enemies of Humanity (the Edorians). These novels are the ultimate “good guys vs bad guys” science-fiction action-adventure stories based in spiritual insights never matched by any other writers.
However, there are NO beings in any other literature I have read — before the 1930s or since — that are comparable: they are insuperable! If you have not read these books, I encourage you to indulge yourself in the greatest science fiction ever written!
