Free gay male erotica from The Big Book of Orgasms
Not only has Unbound Box published an excerpt of "The Jeffrey Factor" by Stella Harris from
The Big Book of Orgasms: 69 Sexy Stores
, they've also given it special art. Thanks, Unbound Box! You can also hear Stella read her story live for free on Wednesday, September 10th at 7:30 pm at She Bop in Portland, Oregon! I'm excited to return to Portland, a city that in my experience loves its erotica, and She Bop has been wonderful to the book as well. They are asking that if you know you're coming for you to RSVP on Facebook so they know how many people to expect (I hope we pack the place!).
I really love the design of their site and that you can get carefully curated boxes of sex toys in the mail. I have a nonsexual fetish (aka, deep love for) snail mail, so they are right up my alley. Want more? Check out the excerpts they've run of "Hard Knocks" by Malin James and "The Flogger" by Jade A. Waters.

Because I love writing about my breasts
My laptop is dying a slow death, which I discovered on my flight Monday to Martha's Vineyard, so I until I get to the Apple store or get a Chromebook replacement, I'm doing most things on my iPhone, including this post, my first time using the Blogger iPhone app. I wrote about why my breasts or any woman's shouldn't be a threat to your marriage for a site I adore, Role Reboot. http://www.rolereboot.org/sex-and-rel...

Buy 2 books get 1 free sale from my publisher Cleis Press
My publisher Cleis Press is having a big summer buy 2 get 1 free sale (they've also got a contest to win some of their summer-themed titles. You can choose from any of their 400 titles and 49 of those are mine! All are linked below; my very favorite is The Big Book of Orgasms: 69 Sexy Stories, in case you're wondering. Looking at this list makes me hopeful and reminds me how far I've come in this career I'm still figuring out, one day at a time. I'm honored to edit anthologies for Cleis, to have gotten my erotica start in their Best Lesbian Erotica 2001 edited by Tristan Taormino with my Monica Lewinsky story "Monica and Me," and to continue to contribute to so many of their anthologies. These along with my ebook only title
Between the Cheeks
are the ones I've edited for them so far, with many more on the way in 2014 and 2015 and, if I'm lucky, far beyond that!

Introduction: Getting Explicit
When we fantasize, we give ourselves space to live out the naughtiest acts we can imagine. For me, fantasizing is like taking a trip to another world, where I can be as wanton, selfish and depraved as I like—and for that matter, that’s exactly what erotica writing does for me as well.
Fantasies don’t follow the rules, whether the ones society has set for us—and if you’re a woman, our culture has plenty of sex rules to rein you in—or the ones we’ve set for ourselves. Anything—and everything—goes. In the twenty-one stories in this book, I’ve tried to include both common and unusual fantasies, ones that speak to things you might do or want to do, ones that might unnerve you, ones that touch the edges of our most cherished taboos.
The title Hungry for More has multiple meanings—these characters do indeed want more, but that doesn’t necessarily mean more sex just to have more sex. Getting off isn’t a numbers game to these characters; it’s about accessing more pleasure, pushing more boundaries, trying new things, sometimes with new partners. Even when they get more of whatever it is they crave, they’re still hungry, because fulfilling one fantasy isn’t the end of their pleasure, but the beginning of a new and grand adventure.
The common thread here, whether the characters are having sex with strangers from Craig’s List, the organic produce clerk or the secretary of state, is that these women are unabashed in their desires. They may recognize that others might look at them askance, as in Valerie Alexander’s “Jailbait Torch Song,” but they follow through anyway, not letting anyone stop them from experiencing the ultimate thrill of playing out a dirty dream that’s often followed them through lovers, relationships and plenty of orgasms. These women often surprise their lovers with their adamant affirmations of lust, but they quickly realize the thrills to be found in venturing beyond their usual erotic boundaries.
The women in these pages know fantasies have a way of finding us, even—or especially—when we try to disavow them. They don’t care about propriety, reputations or acceptability. These fantasies—of public sex, BDSM, strap-on play, lesbian encounters, bukkake, watching male lovers and much more—speak so loudly they cannot be ignored. They insist on being heard, seen, touched. While in real life we may keep our most treasured fantasies tucked away for our most secret selves, in these tales, women’s fantasies are front and center, every explicit act laid bare. Luckily, here, in a book that perhaps you’ll enjoy in bed, or the bath, or wherever you do your erotic reading, you get to watch—and live vicariously through these brazen, taboo-busting women, who are willing to go all the way in the name of living out whatever wild, wicked scenarios their lustiest selves have dreamt up. I invite you to come along for the ride.

4 sexy books for $1.99 on Kindle
It's July, which means new books of mine are only $1.99 on Kindle! The first 3 are very hot erotica, for fans of spanking, bondage and exhibitionism and voyeurism, and the last is non-fiction essays and journalism on an array of topics related to sexuality. If I had to pick one favorite, I'd go with
Cheeky Spanking Stories
since that's a favorite topic of mine. It has my bisexual kinky nude hotel story "Marks" in it (yes, the marks being referred to are from spanking). On sale through July 31st! You can't look inside on my blog but you can on Amazon.
Cheeky Spanking Stories
Best Bondage Erotica 2013
Hide and Seek: Erotic Tales of Voyeurs and Exhibitionists
Best Sex Writing 2013
A little bonus excerpt from "Marks" by me - read the whole thing and lots of others for just $1.99:

Cheeky Spanking Stories

Best Bondage Erotica 2013

Hide and Seek: Erotic Tales of Voyeurs and Exhibitionists

Best Sex Writing 2013
A little bonus excerpt from "Marks" by me - read the whole thing and lots of others for just $1.99:
“Stop it!” Emma squealed as Russell’s blows with the belt went from slaps with more noise than sting to ones that seared her skin, ones that would surely leave marks all over her pale backside. Normally she loved knowing that he wasn’t just spanking her in the moment, but was giving her a parting gift as well, something she tucked into her panties and skirts as she went to work or was reminded of as she sat down at a restaurant for lunch with a friend.
The tinge of afterglow combined with being able to admire her ass were added bonuses to the thrill she got from being spanked, the rush of delicious sensation that she could rarely get enough of. Even on her most off days, when the world seemed askew, a spanking from Russell could set her mind at ease, could right her world. As wonderfully painful as they were, she balked, sitting up and shifting so she was sitting on the hotel bed. “They’re all going to know.” Yes, even at an alternative venue, Emma wanted to be liked and not judged, to fit in. She was all too used to feeling like the odd woman out for liking things like being spanked, slapped, tied up, choked and verbally degraded. She’d found a community of like-minded people who gave her the support she needed, who understood that after a long day she liked to come home and sometimes wear nothing but a collar. This was a new adventure for Emma and Russell, a welcome pleasure after eight years together.
“Know that you like to be spanked? Honey, I’m sure they can tell just by looking at you,” Russell coaxed her. The idea of being “found out” in nonkinky company had always been something they’d talked about in bed, but now it wasn’t having its usual arousing effect on her. “And besides, so what? We’re adults and we’re at an adult resort. The point is to do whatever we want. And I know you want a spanking.” He was right; she did, very much so, and she knew he wasn’t talking about a simple over-the-knee hand spanking, but the kind of blistering session that made them both breathless, the type of spanking that fueled their relationship and, Emma thought, kept it solid and secure.
Spanking was something they could always turn to—and did. But showing off her ass after a full round of Russell at his most vicious wasn’t on her agenda. The bruises and welts he tended to leave on her pale ass were special to her, marks of her endurance she treasured with pride, but they were for her to see in the mirror or him to admire around the house. She’d wanted to come here, but she was still feeling out the crowd, and didn’t want to jinx herself and be seen as separate because of her spanking predilection. Sure, most of these people maybe engaged in a few slaps before and during sex, but Emma liked it hard and rough.

My 6 new erotica stories and 8 writing workshops to learn how to write and sell your own
Even though my mind is such that I tend to focus on the stories I didn't write and wish I had, it turns out that despite that tendency, I have written some stories that I'm excited about in some new and upcoming anthologies. Details of those are below. I've said before that one thing I love about the erotica genre is how welcoming it is to new writers; check out the new site Pillow Talk by erotica authors Tamsin Flowers, Malin James and Jade A. Waters for a taste of how they write. So I'm posting to let you know about these new stories and fabulous new books, but also because if you are interested in erotica, I want to encourage you to go for it. I'm teaching erotica writing workshops all over the country and hope you can join me; I tailor each one to be timely and encourage you to get your work to editors who are hungry to publish new authors ASAP. Yes, you could send something out now and have it published in an anthology in as little as a year. It's a heady feeling, and while that one sale won't bring you riches, it would cover the cost of my class and could lead to many other opportunities, especially if you keep writing. I know not all of you are in these cities, but if you know someone who is who might want to break into erotica, please let them know. It's my first time teaching at Sugar (Baltimore), Secret Pleasures (Washington, DC), Foundation for Sex Positive Culture (Seattle), Q Center (Portland, OR), and Early to Bed (Chicago), so I am especially looking forward to meeting many new writers.
July 23, 6;30 pm, Baltimore erotica writing workshop
July 26, 7 pm, Washington, DC erotica writing workshop - this class is limited to 20 people and filling up fast
September 9, 7-9 pm, Seattle erotica writing workshop

And here are the new books - enjoy!
Slave Girls: Erotic Stories of Submission with my very kinky blindfolded in a hotel room (yes, I love blindfolds!) story "Out of Sight"
Can't Get Enough: Erotica for Women
I've been reading and publishing stories by Tenille Brown for years so it's very exciting to see her publish her first anthology; looking forward to reading it! My threesome story "Under His Watch" is in this book.

She Who Must Be Obeyed: Femme Dominant Erotica - my story "Demo Model" is about a kinky demonstration

I love this cover so much and am extremely honored that my inspired-by-real-life story "Book Swap" opens this anthology by podcaster Rose Caraway, who is my favorite audiobook narrator and has made my audiobooks Gotta Have It: 69 Stories of Sudden Sex and The Big Book of Orgasms: 69 Sexy Stories such a gigantic success (I'll crunch the numbers on my July royalty check, but the Gotta Have It audiobook outsells the print and ebook combined many, many times over, which is pretty amazing, while my favorite of my books, The Big Book of Orgasms, has been holding steady on the Audible erotica bestseller list since two weeks after it debuted, all thanks to Rose's genius. I'll be reading with her from the book September 15th at awesome independent bookstore The Booksmith in San Francisco - stay tuned for details.
