The Year In Review–and What’s Coming Up in 2014
I hope everyone had a wonderful Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or in whatever way you celebrated this holiday season. It was a good one here–exhausting, but good.
It’s also the time of year I do my year in review, and look ahead to what’s coming up next year.
It was a great year in 2013. I released a lot of books.
I released NO STRINGS ATTACHED and WILD NIGHTS, two digital novellas formerly part of print anthologies.
I also released RIDING TO SUNSET, the last book in my Wild Riders series as part of the Nautier and Wilder anthology with amazing author, Lora Leigh.
The HOLIDAY KISSES anthology from Carina Press released in print this year, which means A RARE GIFT, one of my Kent Brothers books, is now available in print form, which I’m so happy about.
This past summer saw the beginning of a brand new series–my Hope contemporary romance series-- with the release of the HOT SUMMER NIGHTS anthology, featuring HOPE SMOLDERS, the introductory novella of my new Hope Series. Jane Kline and Will McCormack mean a lot to me, and I’m hoping you all had a chance to meet them and get to know the town of Hope.
I also released three Play by Play series books–THROWN BY A CURVE and ONE SWEET RIDE, along with a Play by Play holiday novella, HOLIDAY GAMES. All of these books hit the USA Today and New York Times bestseller lists, and for that, I thank all of you so much! I’m thrilled that you’ve embraced my Play by Play series and all the characters we’ve all grown to love so much. I recently inked a new deal for three more books in this series, which I’m so excited about, so look for several more Play by Play books to come in the next few years.
Now let’s look ahead to what’s coming up in 2014 (Warning! Includes cover art with hot guys!!! Brace yourselves!)
Coming up in January is the release of HOPE FLAMES, the first single title in my new Hope contemporary romance series. I’m so excited about this series and I can’t wait for everyone to read it. I’m really hoping you’ll fall madly in love with Luke and Emma.
In early February, Play by Play book #7, MELTING THE ICE, is up, with Drew and Carolina’s story.
In late February is the digital release of HOPE SMOLDERS, my novella previously released in 2013 in the HOT SUMMER NIGHTS anthology, so if you haven’t had a chance to read it yet, you can download it in digital form.
Coming up in late March is the release of HOPE IGNITES, the second Hope book. This book is about hot rancher named Logan, Luke’s brother, and a smart, sassy movie star named Des.
In July is STRADDLING THE LINE, Book 8 of the Play by Play series. This one is Trevor and Haven’s story.
Coming up in October is HOPE BURNS, the third Hope book, and centers on Emma’s younger sister, Molly, and the only man she has ever loved, Carter. (Y’all–I’ve seen preliminary cover art for this book. Omg, so hot. I can’t wait to share!)
And who knows? There may be more than what’s listed above. If all these deadlines don’t keel me. I mean holy crap. No wonder I’m always so tired. 
Seriously though, I’m so excited about all these upcoming books! As you can see, 2014 is shaping up to be a busy year, release-wise. I hope you’re along for the ride. I can promise you lots of romance, emotion, sexy couples, and of course, many happily-ever-afters. And of course, hot, hot men. With hot covers.
Please buy these books, because this blog post with all the linky things took me like an hour. Hopefully all the link things go to the right places. If not, I’m going to blame my imaginary minions.

I love holiday novellas. They really get me in the mood for the holidays, and make me want to start all those dreaded tasks like Christmas shopping and putting the tree up and think about all those things most of really don’t want to start thinking about, like what’s the best gift for someone?
Shannon and I both have holiday novellas out this month. So we were thinking…what’s the perfect gift we would give to each other?
I already know what I’d give to Shannon. In addition to writing some outstanding holiday novellas –check out her blog post all about her holiday novellas here…Shannon writes the amazing Kowalski series. If you haven’t read it yet, you should. But if there’s one word that’s been known to be used heavily in that series, it’s Doom. They have the water volleyball game of doom, the ATV ride of doom, the marshmallow roasting contest of Doom. Whatever sporting event or competition occurs in a book, ‘Doom’ gets attached to the end of it.
So if I were to get a Christmas gift for Shannon, it would have to be this:
