Gerry Anderson’s UFO Series
Say Gerry Anderson and most sci-fi fans think Space 1999 or Thunderbirds. I’ve been re-watching UFO, a series he did set in the distant future of 1980, where the world is beset by attacking UFOs. It’s his first live action series and a fun show with really good special effects and models. It’s also surprisingly …

A Hero’s Death Sold Out
Just found out that the first printing of A Hero’s Death is sold out. Not sure if this is good news or bad news. But I’m going to take it as a good sign! The for sure good news is that the second printing has already shipped!

Cirque du Freak: Vampire’s Assistant is a hidden gem
I had Netflix send me Cirque du Freak: Vampire’s Assistant on a whim. I’d never heard of either the book or the film, but the cast, which includes Willem Dafoe, Jane Krakowski, John C Reilly and Salma Hayek was reason enough to watch. And I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a clever and entertaining story, even if …

Scrivener for iPad in 2016…is Storyist
I love Scrivener. It is hands down my favorite Mac app and I probably have spent more hours staring at a screen in Scrivener than any other application I’ve ever used. It is hands down the best writing tool I’ve ever used. But I’m spending more and more time writing on my iPad these days …

First review of the IDW edition of A Hero’s Death
Comic Crusaders has written up a really nice review of the book. Writer Johnny Hughes gave the book 5 out of 5 and really seemed to connect with what we were going for. But don’t take my word for it. Head over to Comoc Crusaders and read it yourself!
