I.S. Berry Likes Targets West!

I’ve been VERY LUCKY that some great people have said good things about my new thriller, Targets West.

Here’s what Edgar-winner I.S. Berry had to say … and am I grateful!

“Nonstop, edge-of-your-seat stuff. McCrea has reinvented the Western, made it transatlantic. Shootouts, chases, rodeos, assassinations, stampedes—Targets West has everything. You'll struggle to find a dull moment.” —I.S. Berry, author of The Peacock and the Sparrow, a New Yorkerand NPR Best Book of the Year, and Edgar Award for Best First Novel

"Dr. Pop Culture" Likes Targets West!

I've been VERY LUCKY that some great people have said good things about my new thriller, Targets West. Here's what Charles Coletta, AKA "Dr. Pop Culture" had to say ... and am I grateful!

"Lucas Wheeler is a classic Western hero traversing the modern world and its darker corners of governmental espionage, international intrigue, and threats of terrorism. Author Scott McCrea has crafted a true “page turner” that kept me captivated from the first page until the exciting conclusion. His characters are so vividly drawn that they become people we truly are transfixed by as they maneuver through the intricate plot. If only Alfred Hitchcock were still around to adapt this winning adventure story for the silver screen!"

Bob Mayer Likes Targets West!

I've been VERY LUCKY that some great people have said good things about my new thriller, Targets West. Here's what best-selling author Bob Mayer had to say ... and am I grateful!

"A spy caper that jumps from New York, to London, to the Middle East -- complete with a cowboy hero. Unbeatable entertainment."

Thank you, Bob!
